@Mithrandir Even I am willing to work with you guys. Thats why I always said I am just concerned about our identity being hooked up as Blacklisted on GITHUB under your account. You maintain your personal database and keep whatever you want thats not my concern. But if our identity is linked up as Blacklisted on a third party site then absolutely we will be concerned about it.
So I am one more time requesting you to delete all the URLs that are linking our identity as Blacklisted from your GITHUB posts or account.
I am again repeating - I have no issues with your code, your work, your personal database. I am only concerned that my company's reputation has been put on a negative side on a public place openly like GITHUB.
@Tech we have asked you multiple times specifically and explicitly to explain why and how this is a problem, can you please tell us that? it helps assess the feasibility of a possible solution
@Tech We can easily add a few words of description that "This site has known spam history" so as not to confuse viewers from thinging from "blacklist". Would that be satisfactory?
@Tech No, we are not affiliated with Stack Overflow Inc., officially. We are a volunteer group detecting spam on Stack Overflow and the rest of the sites in the Stack Exchange network. Should we remove to a different room now to have a more organized discussion?

@tripleee Probably because pull requests shouldn't have access to github credentials (for security reasons), is probably an oversight in the build process that it refuses to run without those creds
@Mithrandir That pattern looks like it's already caught by Pattern-matching website in answer and Pattern-matching website in body; append -force if you really want to do that.
I changed the blacklisting room to gallery mode and added Mithrandir as a room owner in case I'm not available when something comes up ... but let's wait for a response
tbh the darker side of me wants to publicly name and shame them on meta to actualize the consequences of trying to bully us into doing their online reputation management for them
I'd have added a pair of brackets in a jiffy if they were able to confirm that this is sufficient but I won't spend more time on that if they lost interest

@paper1111 as you are a regular and IIRC a speaker of Chinese, could I add you to the languages page as well? (sorry if my memory is playing tricks with me)
@iBug not really able to look into that at the mo, maybe run it locally to find out (sorry, meetings and work discussions galore IRL going on at the same time here)
@Magisch One thing we have to put into that article is that most of the pages are excluded from web crawlers by robots.txt, metasmoke fully, and github on all commit and blob url's

@Tech I'm one of the project directors here, insofar as we have them. @Undo is the other. I'm reviewing your request to see if there's anything I've missed, but I suspect the answer will be that it stays there.
The reason says Post - Repeated character: *aaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbbbccccccccccccccaaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbbbcccccccccccccc*
I believe it would be more reasonable if it's written as Post - Repeated character: *aaaaaaaaaaaaa*, *bbbbbbbbbbbb*, *cccccccccccccc*, *aaaaaaaaaaaaa*, *bbbbbbbbbbbb*, *cccccccccccccc*
@Magisch well, I seriously consider the possibility that those users aren't affiliated with the website. That doesn't make it not spam, but I can understand Tech's frustration.
@Magisch my default position is no, but I want to make sure I've reviewed everything in case there's anything exceptional before I actually go making decisions
> Repeating characters in body, repeating characters in title ---------- Title - Repeated character: *aaaaaaaaaaa* Post - Repeated character: *aaaaaaaaaaa*
I can understand the frustration I can't understand coming in here like you own the place and then making rude demands and accusing us of defaming your company and trying to intimidate us
gotta say I'm extremely unimpressed with how they chose to go about this
@Tech Unfortunately we can't do what you're asking us to here. Firstly, we have no proof that you're an authorized representative of Webline India. Secondly, from a legal standpoint, this is not defamation. Thirdly and most importantly, removing the domain would be contrary to our project's goals, and you haven't provided any explanation or evidence of how Webline India will be preventing its domain appearing in further spam.
tbh if they'd be polite and present evidence that they've taken steps to discourage their community from spamming and if they'd be an authorized rep of the company
I'd have been fine with obfuscating the rule so it no longer directly links the site
@ArtOfCode Yeah but unscrupulous people like to use it to censor content
I'm quite miffed about this to the point where I considered making a meta post on MSE about how to handle such stuff and how SE thinks about it - mainly to actualize the consequences to company reputation it has when you try and bully people into compliance with legal threats
It might also be worth it to contact actual weblineindia to find out if this was a representative of the company or some overzealous guy from marketing
