@Robotsushi The point of this site is to help people that ask questions, and those future visitors that might want to know the same thing. Asking which race has the highest w/l ratio in a game that is constantly being tuned, is likely only going to help you now. It's like asking "With my current rig, can I play the newest games at maximum with 60 FPS?" because 1-2 years after posting that question, the answer could change from "yes" to "no". Someone could stumble upon the question and think "Oh, I have the same rig, great!" then "I can't play this, wtf?". — Nolonar 10 hours ago

All badges now have XP which contributes to your Steam Level, a summary of your badge collection. You can view someone’s Steam Level by hovering over their avatar. Leveling up earns you non-tradable items like profile showcases, extra friends list slots, and more.

To be honest ... I actually like the idea.

How can I get trading cards?
Each participating game drops up to half the set of cards into your Steam inventory during gameplay. The other half of the card set can be collected from other community members. Try the beta group discussions, community market, barter with friends, and trade discussions.

Are there ways to get badges other than playing games?
The Steam Community badge, earned by doing some basic tasks on Steam, is the easiest way to get a badge. The Years of Service badge (granted on the anniversary of your account creation) will automatically give you more XP the older your account is. Special events on Steam also frequently have badges. We hope to keep expanding the ways you can get badges.

What is a Steam Emoticon?
An emoticon is a small image, themed for a particular game, that you get from crafting a Game Badge. You can insert it in Steam chats, discussion board posts, comment threads, etc. You can see the emoticon in your Steam Inventory and you can trade it to other users, or put it up for sale on the Steam Community Market.

What are Foil Trading Cards?
Once you reach Steam Level 10, there is a small chance whenever you get a Trading Card from playing a game that it will have a special foil border. You'll need to collect a set of foil cards in order to craft them into a foil badge. There is no extra benefit to having foil cards or foil badges aside from their rarity.

Q: Farming problem - seed planted but no plants appearing

I have a problem. I created 2 farm plots. All of them with plump helmets seeds. Seeds are planted. It seems that everything is ok, but two seasons passed and nothing grows. My dwarf are starving right now. Dunno whats happening. I destroyed farm plots and created new ones. Same thing happened....

Q: Stuck on "Updating setup files..." when installing Diablo 3?

After a reasonable hiatus from Blizzard games, I have decided to reinstall Diablo 3. I used to have it installed and working on this machine and removed my previous install using Add/Remove Programs. However, now when I try to reinstall the game, the Diablo 3 Setup starts 'Updating setup files......
