@Magisch ... we... hmmm... I'm not sure how to put this... There's a line blurring out there between what people consider "acceptable" and "offensive"... and it's getting very difficult (if not impossible) to know which side of it you're on.
@Catija I dunno.. changing to uniquely abled will just mean you go and change the wording to something else later on.. Dont see how repeating the same process will help anything
@snailboat are you asking as an owner of that room? If so, it's easy to arrange, but for auditability etc, do you think you could create a request in our Github issue tracker? github.com/Charcoal-SE/SmokeDetector/issues
Make sure that you guys are manually flagging as R/A, because these get placed in audits if the system deletes as spam, and people do not want to see this stuff in audits.
@Glorfindel I wasn't aware of that (thanks!), but I think it would be beneficial in the case 1.) there are review audits in the future, or 2.) just to get in the habit so the sites that do contain review audits aren't impacted by seeing some of these rude posts
Obviously I can't tell people what to do with their flags, I am simply making a statement of the impact on what flagging incorrectly can cause on some sites.
@Glorfindel I'm going to unmark it as spam, but first rollback by the user, first repost, anything showing a single sign of spam and tpu- will be reapplied.
@GrantGarrison I'm just getting in. On it's face, that appears to be an actual question. Is there something about that post for which I need history from the transcript to evaluate?
@GrantGarrison I understand that possibility, but, unless there's something more concrete indicating a connection, that appears to be a valid question for the site on which it's posted.
@Magisch Mod flagging is fine... if it's blatantly bad, feel free to r/a flag. I'm not generally handling those flags, though... and HDE and John have busier schedules than I do.
@GrantGarrison I figured I can always go back and change my feedback if it turns out that way. I already had to change ~10 feedbacks at the start of the previous string (originally tpu, then directed to make them naa, then other people saw that it was a string of copied content, so back to tpu).
