That reason is turned off for a bunch of sites where it attracts fps BTW; if we get more false positives on eOS we can turn it off there too

@GrantGarrison which only matters if there was actually a second (and/or third) reason to supplement it. As of now, there hasn't been a fp with that reason triggering on google.com that has been autoflagged.

@GrantGarrison That's fair enough. It's basically a cost-benefit situation, and so far, the benefits have far outweighed the disadvantages. And also, it's a long way from the 300 we were suggesting for 5 autoflags, and with "just" 3 we can always reverse it :)
As an extra bit of data, url in title has caused 6604 posts to be autoflagged correctly, along with 2 false positives

For eOS we might want to rethink that reason.

@GrantGarrison That search is all posts caught, not autoflagged ones

That link turned out weird: the search
@CalvT븃 Still, that site might not be the place for that reason, considering that we got 7 fp and 1 tp (that would have been autoflagged anyway)

@GrantGarrison Note though that the only autoflagged one was actually spam :)
Sorry hope you don't think I'm ganging up on you
It's a valid point, but I don't think we'd make a change unless either a lot of posts were caught over a couple of months (there you have a span of over a year), or posts were getting autoflagged that shouldn't

@CalvT븃 I actually like a debate because it helps show the benefits and problems of something instead of something just happening and no one knowing why.

At the moment it is only causing one fp per 3/4 months on eOS
@GrantGarrison Good - I'm similar :)
Just some people can take it the wrong way (especially over chat)

4:14 PM
@CalvT븃 I will keep an eye on that for a while. I will check back at 20-30 fp if we get there and consistently not getting tp from that.

That trend is continued with all reasons on eOS - there are 20 tps and 22 fps - search
That's total since the start of metasmoke

@CalvT븃 That's not a good sign.

@GrantGarrison Depends on your outlook - to me it's good because it means eOS doesn't get much spam :)
In that sense, fps aren't an issue, as long as we (as in Charcoal) can correctly identify them as fps
They become an issue when we start getting autoflags that are fps
That isn't happening, so in my view, it's not an issue
To catch the "non-blatant" spam, you have to have broad reasons, and having broad reasons is always going to generate fps. The point is to deal with those fps correctly
And in my view dealing with them correctly = not molesting them in any way

@CalvT븃 I was looking through autoflags for eOS. We don't have any. Why wasn't this auto flagged?

They trip on their horns

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ did you just come in here? Because otherwise I don't think the messages got through. 😂

@GrantGarrison maybe. Is there a ritual?

4:27 PM
@GrantGarrison Probably because either half those reasons didn't exist (so the weight was lower), or autoflagging wasn't a thing then

Or both

Post weights are constantly being recalculated
