@Chippies no matter what's hard wired, it's possible for some software to change it. Keyboards just send signals to the computer. The software can interpret those signals however it wants
@Chippies That's only if you have additional layouts setup, and I've removed those because they are actually annoying if your keyboard suddenly changes to qwerty qnd you stqrt to type like this
It's really fun whn there's a file called "DefaultInput.ini", and you edit it thinking it's the one you need. But actually, you need to first load the game, and then it creates ANOTHER file called "UDKInput.ini", and that's the one that sets your controls

We should just have a meta / blog / something that explains if you are having problems, remove mods until the problem goes away. That's 90% of Minecraft mod troubleshooting.
@Frank my point was that it may not be one mod that's causing the problem, but a pair or more. If you can find the pair that's causing the problem, you can decide which to remove
