I don't mind not being able to settle in taint biomes (I'm usually running with Grimoire of Gaia 2, which makes swamps, deserts, mountaintops and similar even more deadly), just that in earlier versions, you could have a small taint pocket invisible in the jungle 100+ blocks away in the evening and come back to it spreading near your house when you joined the server in the morning.
