@JasonBerkan that was my least favorite thing about it. I'd sacrifice just about anything but stable framerate and resolution for drawdistance, but Minecraft has almost no settings to turn down. It's just inefficient

Q: Is there a way to play Killer Instinct v1.5d online?

I've never had the opportunity to play this game in multiplayer online. AFAIK, it takes an emulator (MAME) that includes Kaillera (MAME Plus Plus) to play roms online, and also this emulator has to be compatible with the game in order to make it work. The game doesn't work with the latest MAME ...

@StrixVaria I also really like the Brave/Default system. There's a tertiary resource called "Brave Points" or BP that basically work like action points. However, you can spend extra BP to get multiple actions in one turn and you can actually incur BP debt, which causes you to lose turns until you go back to 0 BP.

It's very interesting.

@JasonBerkan And defending, or Default as it's called in this game, boosts your BP by one without spending any, so there's actually a good strategy around Defaulting to stack up BP so you can attack a ridiculous amount of times when the opponent's weak.
