It's the best answer I think you can get. Until there's a USC requirement to use a particular dictionary there's nothing you can do about fractured dicts
@ændrük The fact of the matter is that there is no such thing as a central resource for these things. With that premise, your question is unanswerable.
@FEichinger The absence of a centralized spelling dictionary does not preclude my question from having an answer. There is nothing wrong with posting an answer to the effect of "1) Find out which dictionary the affected application uses, here's a link to how to do that. 2) File a bug against that dictionary, here's a link to how to file bugs."

depending on the edit, you could maybe do it in __init__ and make something like:
