I'm really not familiar with Asterisk, but isn't is something simple like outgoing_line_group="dahdi0.0 dahdi0.1 dahdi1.0 dahdi1.1" ? I really need to sit down a mess with Asterisk one of these days.

@Chloe I don't think so. I think it's just a collection of key/values that should get read into the message header. I think the issue might have something to do with Exchange not reading and processing the headers correctly when the message is sent from the Pickup folder

@mbrownnyc You can offer a second bounty, but you can't modify the first. The second has to be a minimum of double the previous bounty (to a max of 500)
@ChrisS I hear that, but I'm having trouble finding anyone who's actually... "professional grade" (or anywhere near that level) being put off SE sites by someone being told to RTFF, honestly. (Not that you set SE policy and whatnot, as you stated, but I would be interested in reading of or about these professionals I can't seem to locate.)
@mbrownnyc I'd wait on offering a second bounty until your first one expires. If a 200 point bounty doesn't motivate someone to give you an answer, an additional 400 points won't either, so you're probably throwing your points away. I'd say anything over 100 is overkill anyway.
@Chloe Sure, because it's explicitly a site for professionals, unlike other SE sites. FWIW, I didn't find it intimidating or harsh in the least, even at first. "It's for professionals, great, a minimum level of competence and effort to separate it from every other site on how to install a Server OS on the internet!"

@ChrisS I think, for me, the issue with the "Professional" defence is that it works great for lack of research, lack of clarity and terrible question writing but I do cringe when people are struck down for simply not knowing something. At the end of the day professional covers everything from 1st tier support to IBM architects. We all had to learn something once, and we all end up out of our comfort zone.

Additionally, we all know intimately (or should!) how put on IT professionals are in the work place. It's often not our decision on what we have to support, and with what tools.
@ChrisS Well, I can see that, and had similar thoughts (and more) when I first encountered him, but every community has its... uh, "Tomtoms" for lack of a better way to put it, so I didn't take one member as a good representation of the whole 50,000 member community.

@ewwhite Honestly... at least from my interactions with him, he comes off as an abrasive asshat who speaks authoritatively on topics he doesn't actually know a damn thing about. From the couple of arrogant, completely off-base answers and comments he's thrown my way, at least. @Chloe Ah, well hopefully that works too. Kinda depends on what exactly the cert is for and being used by. I had to update a whole bunch of ILO "sites" with certificates that involved pasting an issued cert into the damn textbox through the web interface. That was unpleasant.
@Chloe Yeah, me either. And unfortunately, documentation on this is sparse and the scripted approaches I could find wouldn't work at all with that ILO version, as if HP expected the cert to get applied by magic, or not at all, or something. Ugh.
Mostly we're bulk converting due to bitching from the Admin staff because the time to open is so long. They have about 1000 spreadsheets, and so we've been tasked with the conversion process.

@HopelessN00b It's accessed via a Samba service on a VM that mounts the drives via NFS. So the block locks don't work.
It spends 3 minutes trying to do block locks. 2010 docs seem to handle it more gracefully.
No budget to replace the existing file storage until next year. Hopefully it doesn't blow up before then since I'll probably just walk out rather than work the 100 straight hours to restore the damn thing.

@derobert Nope. Already tried that one. It's already rejecting them, but Office 2010 doesn't seem to figure out that block locks are disallowed until it times out and eventually does a file lock.
And I'm not so keen on actually doing it either, since I imagine there's some Sharepoint and collaboration functionality that may be useful for the staff.

Over here the vast majority of salaried jobs will pay you full pay while you're sick. Normally up to a certain amount of time per illness, but for a few days or weeks certainly. With those that don't pay, we have statutory sick pay. It's not much, but basically the government pays
It's different for hourly workers, I'm not really up that, but they get statutory sick pay too
@Chloe Here you usually get 5 paid sick days per year, if you need more than that you have FMLA but that's a joke, and "2 weeks" (10 days) paid vacation time is the base standard (most places let you work up to 4 over the course of your employment)
@Chloe That depends on your jurisdiction, here in NY hourly workers aren't guaranteed (any meaningful) statutory sick time but I believe they are in Cali
@Chloe That's one of the few nice things about IBM. Unless you were out for weeks, it was no big deal. You simply get paid because you were employed. Especially if you were working at least a few hours/day from home.
@Chloe Well, over here, if you don't limit sick days, you end up with a lot of "sick" time for ethanol-ingestion related maladies immediately on either side of the weekends.

@voretaq7 We're actually strongly recommended to file FMLA paperwork any time you take more than 3 consecutive sick days. So that it can be used to help discredit any absence complaints against you.
@ScottPack I'm generally of the opinion that if you need to miss 3 days of work (absent say coming down with influenza on Monday) you really should be seeing a doctor :)
Around here, it's not uncommon for an employer to require a sick note for two day absences, or "sick" absences on Mondays or Fridays, precisely because there's so much abuse of using a "sick day" to create a long weekend.
Seems a little silly to me, but whatever. I mean, if they provide enough value, let them get away with taking a long weekend every now and then. If not, they should probably be fired anyway.
@voretaq7 According to our policies, if you are taking leave after adoption or birth to "bond with the child" that's vacation, if you are doing it to "assist in caring for the mother (or whatever)" then it's sick time.
@Chloe If you get sick wednesday evening that's Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday for recovery -- MAYBE Monday. If you're still so sick on Monday that you don't think you can make it to work Tuesday it's time to make an appointment to see your doctor -- we're talking about more than a cold now.
@Chloe Most every employer over here has it in some form. If not officially named as such, then called extended sick leave, or a sabbatical, or what have you. For maternity leave anyway. Paternity leave is less common.
I've been can't-get-out-of-bed sick a few times, but it's never lasted more than a day or two before I started recovering to at least the point of answering emails :)
@ScottPack Well it's functionally the same thing when they give you x "extra" "sick days" for child-related leave that you're allowed to take. Probably just an accounting distinction for those damned number-pushers.
We don't have statutory M/P leave (outside of FMLA and a few states with progressive labor laws), but most companies offer decent maternity leave because otherwise they're branded as misogynists, which leads to offering paternity leave or they get branded with gender discrimination. Most companies do have a "couples working here can only use ONE of these options" clause though.
Personally, I find it weird and fucked up the way the rest of the more liberal developed world does trust a bunch of asshatted professional liars and sociopaths to create one-size-fit all rules backed with the force of law for every little thing. YMMV, I guess.
@ScottPack Really? What area of the country? And industry sector? Making someone take regular sick time for [m/p]eternity leave sounds like a really crappy practice that's not exactly going to attract the best and brightest.
@ScottPack Oh, that's right, you're Ohio too. I can only say that's bizzare, the difference in our experiences. I'm down the road from OSU and have only seen that kind of dumbassery regarding benefits in low-margin sectors like logistics and manufacturing for unskilled labor.
@ScottPack it's pretty normal in NY - hourly workers usually bank vacation hours based on time worked and lots of companies bank vacation that way (though you can take it before you've earned it)
Skilled trades (electricians and the like) don't get PTO usually unless they're direct employees, but that's skilled trades and they can make a year's salary in a month if they really work at it
