(legacy Skyrim is only capable of allocating 4 GB of memory, 2 GB before patch 1.3.1; Skyrim SE is 64-bit and therefore not subject to the same constraints)
I think one of the challenges Bethesda ran into is making Skyrim SE "bug-compatible" with legacy Skyrim, because existing mods need to be portable.
@MarkYisri XP... probably does? But maybe not, idk.
XP is old enough it might be before DVD codecs were supported natively.
Oh, apparently not.
@bwDraco Depends. They've updated it a lot, but at release the AI opponents were insanely hard (esp. in single-player)
It's a fun little game to have PvE skirmishes on, though :P
Worth it ultimately depends on, e.g., how many hours of play you expect to get.
@bwDraco DX12 doesn't really help that much by itself. But the game really needs a fairly beefy CPU (and GPU, but you can set a lower res and quality instead).
I think the "blood that didn't look like blood" vomit might have been the result of mixing banana and vanilla smoothie with a blueberry and apple smoothie, a burger, and some salami.
So asshat who stole my card checked out of hostel this morning and did an exactly 20 pounds contactless transaction at 12:36 at Tesco store in the middle of town and 1406 did the same at Sainsbury's by the central train station.
Given the hostel ID's everyone who checks in and the police have exact times he was at two stores, and the fact the behaviour smacks of profesionnal thief, I suspect the police will be onto him soon enough
Evidently he's not very original and doesn't go very far, seeing as the hostel he stole from and both shops he used the stolen cards in are within 0.2 miles of each other

hmmmmm.
...delvery address is in Portland OR
so it's going from OR to WA to FL ... back to OR?
is the US postal system really that convoluted?
wait. why is it taking a detour from NW US to SE US anyway?!
I have a Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H with a Xeon E3-1230 v3 and a Dell UP2414Q set to use DP 1.2a to get 4K@60 Hz via DisplaPort.
With a nVidia GTX 760 the monitor was turning on at boot, in time for me to see the Award logo and to enter the UEFI BIOS. The BIOS is set to "other OS" (vs Windows 8) and ...
Your ISP blocks port 80
Nothing you can do about this one. You could try calling them to remove the block, but you'll have to get past the level 1 "Can you try rebooting to resolve this problem?" drones and the level 2 "We're not allowed to do that" drones first.
More ISP's than not will block...
