@Cerbrus No. Smokey is a known bot, a known bot of a mod, and was recently associated with sockpuppetting. I'd prefer it remain "just a bot" for the purposes of this announcement
I think it's stupid.
Of course, I'm not a big fan of bounties under any circumstances... But abusing the sandbox to get rep into a sockpuppet while preventing others from using it for its intended purpose is pretty clearly not a purpose bounties were ever intended to serve... Same goes for Prote...

@rene I was struggling with a more clear question too. I eventually took from Bhargav Rao's recent post and make it more of an announcement, versus mine where I asked if I could keep doing it. We don't need that here, since the CMs have said we could.
@rene essentially we're telling people "Hey, we're doing this, here's how it works" to preclude things like "They're using sockpuppets to coordinate casting flags! ban them!" from happening when uninformed users come across it
@rene As for what to expect from readers, I'd love to see anything from "You can't do this! It's unhuman! Bots are bad!" (provided they can explain why) to "Wow! This is more amazing than the wheel!"
rene makes a good point though. This isn't an official "announcement" post, because the new tag seems to be geared toward usage by Stack Exchange employees. Right now the post I have ends with the quote below, but doesn't actually ask anything. To keep it on topic for meta (any meta), I think we need to. Suggestions?
