11:00 PM
@Powerlord I don't think it's out yet, the release date.

@Krazer Ah, OK, thanks

@OrigamiRobot I would buy it at 45, but there will be a better sale within the next 30 days I can almost guarantee, so wait.

This game really does some things really terribly.
When I'm fighting the last boss guy on the way to the commune point, don't respawn guys I just killed so that I have to deal with them on top of the boss.

@InvaderSkoodge What game?

11:14 PM
That's so stupid.
GW2.

Q: How can you restore energy?

Sadly NotCamps are supposed to restore energy in Make No Wonder, but idling at my camp is not restoring it, only preventing it from draining more. How can I restore energy?

anyone here play "Just Cause 2"?

@rlemon @GnomeSlice

@GnomeSlice should I buy it, is it as good as the previews on steam/youtube make it out to be?

He will say yes.

11:17 PM
lol

@InvaderSkoodge The respawn times are terrible

damn name, too many games.... not enough time.
I'm so depressed every time I get a new game and cannot customize the key commands... :( sorry fingers, you're going to have to get used to another position.
I only bring this up because I just tried torchlight.

@rlemon You should buy it, but you should buy it when it is on extreme steam sale or similar. You can get it for 3 bucks.

@rlemon Not bad at $9, though I could swear I've seen it cheaper on Steam. Fun though.

11:20 PM
Just Cause 2 is at a minimum, worth every cent of your 3 bucks.

lol

I shouldn't have to feel like I just ninja'd that skill point by killing enemies 2-3 times each.
But that's how I feel anyway.

@rlemon Yes. Better.
New IndieGala simulation bundle is live.

@Wipqozn Another potential entry for the Darwin awards?

11:29 PM
Also, wat:

@GnomeSlice What makes the boxes so much better?
After all, 2-3 of those are on the GoG sale.

@Powerlord You can always reinstall them if you lose your files.

@GnomeSlice GoG lets you redownload your files.

@Powerlord What if GoG goes down next year? Or the year after?

@GnomeSlice Get mad at them again for pretending to go down.

11:31 PM
man there are so many of those game bundle companies now

@Powerlord Clearly I meant 'not pretending'.

@GnomeSlice I'm referring to the last time GoG "went down"

Hey guys! Greed Corp Steam key for $3.99! Play with me!

@Powerlord Stupid polacks. I may or may not still be bitter.

@Powerlord I don't really use GoG.

11:33 PM

@Powerlord I also don't really care, you're missing my point entirely.

@GnomeSlice Well, the problem here is that GoG is owned by the company that makes The Witcher series of games. And by all reports, they're rolling in money right now.

@Powerlord Like I said, I don't care, and you're still missing my point.
=[
My point was that boxed games are good because the only person who can lose your games is you.

Welp
That's another life experience that I have survived

@pixel Wat

11:40 PM
Never again though thanks

@pixel What life experience would that be?

That's OK, I was 5 feet from being involved in a multi-car accident on the freeway today.

Services and implementation competing with development for the biggest bar tab

@Powerlord Was there an accident that you avoided or was there the potential for an accident but it didn't occur?

@InvaderSkoodge Accident I avoided.

11:41 PM
With an overwhelming feeling that I was being punished for a crime in an earlier life

I think 3 cars were involved.

I've never been quite that close, but I've seen one a hundred or so feet ahead of me and avoided it.

One of which was trying to change lanes when they were hit and ended up turning right 90 degrees across the lane I was driving in.

It's usually because someone is being a complete moron (tailgating, weaving through traffic, etc.)

The world is spinning around me

11:42 PM
@InvaderSkoodge Actually, I think that's exactly what happened.

I have never c rashes a car
Crashed

@GnomeSlice If the service goes down, then you hoist the colours, secure in the knowledge that you did buy the game and you are just downloading a backup. Or you could be proactive and backup the install files... Many ways to mitigate the service shutting down.

This was at the junction between US-127 South and I-96 East. Apparently an earlier accident on I-96 East backed up the exit ramp for US-127 south onto it, which is the left lane there. The middle lane (which I was in) continues on I-127 South. My theory is that people in the left lane were tailgating each other, didn't notice that traffic was stopped, tried to stop (I heard the breaks) and ended up causing a multi-car accident due to it.

user2334
or just buy it again for $2 in a Steam sale or 2 credits on Steam-o-tron 2000 or whatever they're using in the future

The tube is awesome this time of night
Completely empty

11:45 PM
@MarkTrapp I've had a Steam account for 9 years now. I don't see it going away anytime soon.
That reminds me, I need to check if Valve updated my profile's Years of Service thingy

user2334
@Powerlord Sure, you say that now, but what guarantees do we have that Steam will be around in its present form after the great Mantid invasion of 2459?

But i think I am developing a crush for somebody I work with after the amount of time he's spent watching my back these last two weeks

Yup, it's showing 9 now.

@TrentHawkins It also means I don't have to download it.
Except I already own all of the games in that image.

Which is always bad news
Hopefully in the morning I will have forgotten

user2334
11:47 PM
@pixel oh. my. god. Do you like like him?

@Powerlord Heh, I'm coming up on 8 years in January.

@pixel You've had too much to drink.

I said crush
Hey this is like the 4th time in my life I have drunk anything alcoholic

user2334
pixel and co-worker sitting in a tree

And the night ended on something called sambuca

user2334
11:50 PM
Sambuca () is an Italian anise-flavoured, usually colourless, liqueur. Its most common variety is often referred to as white sambuca to differentiate it from other varieties that are deep blue in colour (black sambuca) or bright red (red sambuca). Like other anise-flavoured liquers, the ouzo effect is sometimes observed when combined with water. Ingredients Sambuca is flavoured with essential oils obtained from anise, star anise, liquorice and other spices. It also contains elderflowers. The oils are added to pure alcohol, a concentrated solution of sugar, and other flavouring. It is c...

Sambucca is pretty good.
@pixel Drink water. Now. A lot of it.

As of right now, I now own the last 5 games on the GoG pick 5 for $10 that I didn't already own.

Which as far as I knew was a song by the wideboys

If you don't want to regret this tomorrow, go fill a glass of water and start drinking.

But is apparently some aniseed flavoured death drink

11:51 PM
@LessPop_MoreFizz Not chocolate milk? :(

@Powerlord Not an effective counter to dehydration.

Mark I don't have the energy to rebuke you for your nursery songs

Which is what causes The Pain the next morning.

user2334

Hey I'm clever
I went to the shop on the way back
Hey I'm clever
I got water and sandwiches

11:54 PM
@pixel Good!
@pixel The water is the important part.
Drink all the water.

This wifi is killing me though have to keep retrying

Then drink more water.

I should rename my SE accounts to "BadAdvice" and then try to give good answers to see what people say

The bread is important it soaks up the fluids
And if I drink all the water I will probably drown myself

@pixel The bread is helpful, but the water is the important part.

11:57 PM
:p

The bread can help prevent puking. The water saves you from the most horrific headaches of your life the next day.
Trust me. I am an Expert on Drinking Too Much.

I manage my hydration like my life depends on it
The various things I do instead of alcohol means my life usually does depend on it

the sneaky thing about alcohol is that the dehydration happens several hours after the consumption. Hence getting the hangover the next morning when you wake up.

Hi guise.

@pixel Yeah, the thing that's sneaky/different about alcohol is that you get dehydrated the next day.

11:59 PM
I didn't have a hangover this morning and lastnight I was fed absinthe
I protested, just saying

Hahahahahahahahaha Varg from Burzum is making a video game. What the fuck.
