@MadScientist It can be, but everything I've heard about the F2P experience is that it's a horrific waller vampire in terms of it's structure.

That said, if you are playing mainly for the story, I will strongly encourage you to play the Imperial Agent class.

(Each class has it's own separate storyline, with totally different characters and cutscenes. They rarely intersect, except insofar as you go to the same places.)
