@RyJones I prefer the windsprint approach to contracting. 80 hours a week for 2-3 weeks, week off. Repeat. Contract ends, take long-ass vacation with all that extra money to decompress.

My Dad would do that. He would do 60+ hour weeks, 6 days a week, for 48 weeks a year, and then crash for 4 weeks holiday where we'd go somewhere nice

As a result I didn't really get a relationship with my Dad until I was 18 and he started to slow down

(and even then he was over seas for 3-4 months a year)

@Wesley My moodle shit is 4 front-end servers and 2 DB servers with all the load balancing, HA failover and fault tolerance you could ask for. The server used for these twice a year surveys is a single server and I think we're lucky that the upgrade didn't require professional services from the vendor.
