I got a basic understanding of concepts, just needed help yesterday on how to apply them to my character

so for armor class you need to figure out what kind of armor you have

I'm using a leather armor

You have an AC of 11 + Dex modifier

Do I also add proficiency bonus of +2?

I think those numbers are with proficiency? Because I chose Scale Mail and they said I got AC of 14

@bobble Inspiration is something the DM gives you when you did something really cool. You can spend Inspiration to get an advantage on a roll (meaning you roll twice and choose the higher number.)

@Mithical Hitpoints are based on your class and Constitution modifier. Each class has different starting hitpoints.

AC is based on the armor you wear and sometimes your Dexterity modifier, depending on armor type.

Attacks are what weapons you have and what offensive options you have, with attack modifiers and damage dice.

And spells are spells, and they usually come from your class.

All of your ranged and bow attacks depend on Dexterity, so having a low score will hurt your attack power quite a bit

My dex stat is 17, for comparison

Okay, I also changed my backstory a bit so that my elven village was a worshipper of Sylvanus, and it was arbitrarily attacked by a group of hellhounds and fiends
