Q: Spam flags and R/A flags - Is the difference practical?

ɪʙᴜɢAs per the FAQ, we know that there are two small differences between spam flags and R/A flags. If a deleted post has at least 1 valid spam flag, it can be used as review audits. The same doesn't apply to R/A flags. If a question has a second answer deleted with at least 1 valid spam flag, it's ...

It's... hard... to argue in favor of writing an algorithm and making a bot spend time calculating which of the two flag types to use when they are, in actuality, the exact same flag. It's not even Coke vs. Pepsi, it's Pepsi vs. a second bottle of Pepsi that's using a different but still valid Pepsi logo.

@iBug Thanks. I still don't see the point in asking that, since it's a discussion we've had before, and came to a conclusion...
I hope this isn't going to end in some employee changing their mind, meaning SD's flagging would have to be disabled.

@Cerbrus I'm not sure I've seen auto-flags on abusive posts, wouldn't that just affect FIRE users?

I don't have a full overview of what kind of flags come from where
I just know that using "spam" was approved. I see no reason to poke holes in that approval.
And that's what the question can end up doing.

k, yeah I've never looked carefully just don't seem to remember going to any abusive ones and seeing the three auto flags

My problem with that question, @iBug, is that it makes it seem like charcoal just decided to only use spam flags, while there has actually been quite a bit of discussion about whether or not it's okay. The question doesn't mention any thought that went into the decision.

(an error occurred sending feedback to metasmoke) (FIRE) -- why?

Could be a couple of different things

[meta-tag:feature-request]: make Ctrl-Space open the last dialog and then when pressed again, open the one before that, and so on
oh right this site is SE not a specific site

@Cerbrus Do FIRE have API?

2:17 PM
@iBug Yes. But only very few methods ara available

By API, I mean something I can type in the F12 console.

Thanks

Look for "Access: public"

uh, so no public API to enable/disable blur

2:21 PM
That's an option in the FIRE settings
Click the gear on the bottom right of a report

Ah alright

I find the blur helpful for when a dialog shows up because it helps me focus on the dialog but I find it doubly unhelpful when the blur doesn't go away afterwards :P (not a problem for opening spam reports, only for token request which is a one-time thing so I'm ok with it)
