@micsthepick Those were actually Korean or something, from before MS knew how to deal with UTF8. Translating the foreign language leads to a somewhat legit looking post about patents.

@Tanuj Please don't go around a bunch of chat channels with your campaign (you've so far posted in 3 channels, that I can see). It may be a good cause, but you need to find the right avenue for it.
Okay, replace 'your campaign' with 'that campaign'. There are plenty of things worthy of a voice in the world. But most of the channels on StackExchange aren't the right avenue for it.

@iBug That pattern looks like it's already caught by Bad ns for domain in answer and Bad ns for domain in body; append -force if you really want to do that.

@iBug I find the "dupe" process (especially on meta "feature requests") to be somewhat entertaining. Something that was declined x years ago for y reason, may be looked at differently in the present time.
I think we have the official statement of SE staff that we're fine to just cast spam flags on everything, so I wouldn't bother about that too much. They say we can/shall do it that way, so handling this internally is their task.

It's... hard... to argue in favor of writing an algorithm and making a bot spend time calculating which of the two flag types to use when they are, in actuality, the exact same flag. It's not even Coke vs. Pepsi, it's Pepsi vs. a second bottle of Pepsi that's using a different but still valid Pepsi logo.
