@GettingNifty your opening lines in this room remind me of a (bulked-up) guy saw last night, buying my dinner at Qdoba, odd tshirt + tattoos, with an ankle tracker... figured it wouldnt be a good idea to ask him why he had it... kinda looked like not a keychain stuck in his pocket... o_O :P
@GettingNifty I'm heading to starbucks . . . but I'm usually on the chat. I'll try to learn some more game dev concepts so the next time we chat I'd be able to keep up hehe
s you can see, f() and g() do exactly the same and can be used in the same ways. Note that the lambda definition does not include a "return" statement -- it always contains an expression which is returned. Also note that you can put a lambda definition anywhere a function is expected, and you don't have to assign it to a variable at all.
but... c languages at the moment(with the possibility of anything being out of date at any moment) are better to program a game console because they don't have to process things that a desktop computer would
Any magnetism specialists here maybe? The equation for magnetic field strength is based on the distance r to the dipole, but what if I want if the straight line between the measured location and the dipole is obstructed by shielding (i.e., another paramagnetic solid)? Surely, I need a different, fancier equation now?
You could wait 2 years and nobody will give a fuck.
Magnetism has no north or south pole.
A magnetic monopole is a hypothetical elementary particle in particle physics that is an isolated magnet with only one magnetic pole (a north pole without a south pole or vice versa). ... There is no experimental or observational evidence that magnetic monopoles exist.
Thanks, @dmckee. I'd been getting notices and trying not to get too annoyed at the comments, but when it got to a full page of complaining about querents and nothing related to the post, I lost my cool.
