Actually that's a funny story, when I was at bielefeld I didn't know about the conspiracy, and I called a frind I was going to meet in Flensburg to tell him I was at Bielefeld already and he just kept makign fun of how I couldn't be there, it was all an illusion and so on

I don't have any issues with it. I have a very hard stance on immigration (against) and about multiculturalism in general that the Green Party people don't enjoy :p
It highly depends on how you're defining the pretty charged word "multiculturalism" there. And I'll preventively say this is not the place to get into that.

As to what you seem to be asking, probabilities are only ever defined as part of some possibility space (usually denoted $\Omega$ from what I've seen)

@DanielSank in the space of all probability distributions, Poisson(exactly 2) has measure 0, so unless you either (a) expand your idea of "consistent with this analytical model" to account for fuzz or (b) put some pretty crazy priors on the distributions ("I know it's Poisson of an even integer"), you can't say much
I just stumbled across this ignorant rant and wondered "how could the person writing this have so much rep?" Then I checked and indeed they have written reasonable answers to other questions, some of which I've apparently upvoted. I don't know what to make of this.
I found it extremely annoying that this is in some sense, a projection of a (at least) 3 dimensional system onto just one dimension of nuclear motion

I think I've worked out why the Newtonian calculation of the event horizon radius gives the same answer as GR, and as expected it's all actually rather boring.
The weak field form of the metric is:
$ds^2 = -(1+2\phi)dt^2 + dx^2/(1+2\phi) + d\Omega^2$ where $\phi$ is the Newtonian gravitational potential.
But in the Schwarzschild metric the way the $r$ coordinate is chosen makes this equation exact, so it applies even when the curvature is high.
And that's why the Newtonian calculation works. It's an accident of how the radial coordinate has been chosen.
@DavidZ @dmckee @Qmechanic Can whoever of you declined my flag on this "answer" elaborate on how that answers the question "Do tachyons move faster than light?". It says "If tachyons move faster than light, then Einstein was wrong". It doesn't say at all whether or not they actually move faster than light.
The NAA flag is meant for things that don't even attempt to answer the question, and are basically entirely unrelated to the question, or are not even attempts to answer anything.
That answer didn't meet that criterion, I thought. It's the sort of thing to downvote, not delete.
Which is good if the net reputation from that wrong answer is negative, since deleting it would just give the points back to the user, but the 5:1 upvote/downvote ratio sadly leads to it actually being possible to gain rep by just posting wrong stuff that looks good enough for someone who doesn't know better to upvote it.
