@Magisch Animals in general tend to like me. It's something I inherited from my father. Practically any animal we come across will get along with us. If I had a penny for every time someone went "oh wow my pet normally doesn't like strangers"...:D

@TheTinyMan The secret to good rulership is delegation. Delegate all the boring stuff away, so you can focus on the interesting bits. In that sense, it's pretty similar to being a software tester in an Agile environment...maybe I should change my aspirations for the future :P

Yes but then you have to make sure your delegates are doing well, much like parallel programming, which adds a bit of complexity beyond "just do the thing and walk away from the explosion," which can be a single-threaded operation. :-D

Q: Is it rude to ask professors age?

So today during our first lecture we had new faculty to teach us. During first lecture after a brief introduction about him he asked us to ask any questions that we may have about him. So I was curious about how old he was so I asked him. He answered it but I am not sure if it is rude or impolite...
