@Randal'Thor After some break, I‘ve finished Gathering Storms. The author change did not turn out bad. This book is packed with action and plot and reveals. Spoiler: The Brown that turned out to be black was well done, and I hadn’t picked up the clues (different to Moirhaines not so quite death).
And, suddenly, all plot lines interest me. Before, I only found either Aviendha/Aiel, Rand/Min, Mat, Perrin or Egwene/Tower interesting, and suddenly everything is great... It really payed off reading through the mediocre middle sections of the 14 books
