Q: Can scifi id questions from movies SE be migrated here?

Since movies SE have decided to ban id question and delete all the existing ones, I'm asking if it's possible to save part of its archive (scifi related questions) by migrating them here? And if it's possible how to do so (I'm not familiar with how migrating works)?

So I'm re-reading The Giver, one of my favorite books, and I'm trying to think of the inconsistencies. Of course it would be so easy to just chalk them all up to Lowry not thinking them through properly, like the Rowling maths stuff. But I'm trying to do that only if I can't think of another way out.

The scary part is that many of the inconsistencies could be explained if the Giver was right when he said the community is much newer than people think. That would imply the adults have been mind controlled very thoroughly, not only removing their old memories, but filling them with fake ones. But the part where that's hard to make to work is the Giver himself.

He talks about his own training, and he isn't young (although he's probably younger than he looks). And his memory is very likely intact and he's speaking to Jonas honestly.
