@AshleyNunn for ME1, there is Mass Effect:Genesis, which is basically a cliffs notes version of the first game that was released before ME2, since ME2 came out on PS3 when ME1 hadn't. The idea was to give them a way to get caught up, while still being able to make all the same choices and have a save to transfer over.

Huh, if you improve a suggested it to remove a tag the suggested edit added, you get an error saying you didn't do anything to change the post. If you then make some trivial edits to clear that error, it completely obliterates the suggested edit

There are powers and weapon modifications that affect the ammo capacity. I'm wondering whether those make even sense for your squad mates, if they ever run out of ammo?
Do my squad mates have unlimited ammunition or can they run out of ammo?
What's the deal with editing anyway? I saw one eager user has been going through almost all recent posts and at time editing just a few characters here and there. I thought minor edits were discouraged?

There seems to be a variety of bonus powers available in Mass Effect 3, I'm wondering what I have to do to unlock all of those.
What are the exact requirements on unlocking those bonus powers? Do they only come into play when I start a new game, or do I get them in the game where I unlock them?

@Fabian I'm surprised on two counts, mostly that we're getting Fleet Admiral within 3 days of the event opening, but also that it took Raven so long to hit General - he'd been waffling on being close to the rank for almost all of yesterday.
@Fabian the tiers do ramp up pretty strongly; prize 3 is really easy, but it's harder once you're required to get 5 upvotes per Q instead of 1 of course
The three of us who hit general also got a really good jump start on it by being up late during release night for that initial wave of questions/answers
