What in-game content (maps, weapons, skins, missions, etc.) comes with the Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3 that the basic package does not include?
@LessPopMoreFizz I wouldn't normally explain it either but I didn't want anyone to think the other down vote was because the collector's edition is a rip off.
@tiddy yeah, what is up with that. Maybe you should post on the meta thread for the giveaway? the CHAOS team that orders the copies might be able to track yours.
@RavenDreamer speaking of answers, I'm working so I haven't been able to attempt to repo my question from last night. I honestly think it was a glitch with something, but wanted to see if it is a known issue or if I'm alone.
@Sterno Aw shucks :) Heh... I keep reminding myself ... lots of time ... just because Raven can pull this off like nothing, doesn't mean I have to try to keep up :-)
@Sterno well, duplicates don't tend to get deleted, and even so we'd probably merge your answer into the other question. so, it still counts, I think? yay?
I'm trying to get General Oraka not killed. I've talked to Kannik in giving me the "top-of-the-line" weapons, but he expects artifacts from me. WHat sort of artifacts is he looking for & where can I get them?
How can I download Peer Review DLC on PC ? I've purchased Portal 2 in a bundle together with Portal 1. On Steam Portal 2 -> DLC there are no items to dowload. Can I play it after completing Single Player part ?
I'm getting lost in the sea of Mass Effect 3 DLC. From what I understand, there are numerous sources for DLC codes that allow access to in-game content like new weapons, skins, maps, missions, etc. These sources include pre-order bonuses from various retailers, Collector's Edition content, purcha...
I just asked about what's in the rare and uncommon item packs for multiplayer. This seems like something that would have been asked before but I couldn't find it. Speak up if you know of a dupe!
In the multiplayer store, there are two item qualities mentioned; Uncommon and Rare. Are there other qualities above or below these two? How do you know qualities the items in a pack are after purchasing it?
Depending on how large the list is, it's entirely possible the question will be too broad though. Googling didn't help. I'd be surprised if EA doesn't have a list of things somewhere, though
I'm getting destroyed in multiplayer and I'm trying to decide whether or not I should buy some of the cheap 5000 credit packs just so I can hopefully get some new weapons, or if I should save up for one of the rare packs and hope I get something awesome.
However, I have no sense of what kinds of...
I told my old trusted doctor (Dr. Chakwas) to stay behind but didn't get prompted of gaining an asset. I then tried to recruit the younger one (Dr. Michel) and she keeps saying she has to think about it. Does she join later, or am I glitched?
Is it possible to get the best endings playing as a renegade? Or the choices you make (if you are not tempted to break character) are inherently evil at some point, which would prevent them?
@BenBrocka Then start making it when the game comes out. Give the people some time to play the gorram game before shoving more purchasable stuff on top of the full retail price
@LessPop_MoreFizz Zaeed was an OK instance in that all it did was encourage to buy the game new, because you needed the Cerberus key, much like Shale for DA:O
@DavidB I got it! EA is the Illusive Man, helps out a small company, brings them back to life and gives them lots of toys, only to turn on them violently, trying to kill them and their image, whereas Bioware is Shepard!
@TylerShads It seems like at that point, I should only be challenged by enemies who have also solo-destroyed a star system. Basically what I'm saying is an adequate one-on-one challenge would be Shepard vs a reaper!
@BenBrocka I'm confused. You were talking on chat about a list of ME endings and I pointed you at an answer within gaming.se talking about a list of ME endings, with LessFizz's strategy guide confirmation attached to it?
By the time I had read this answer to this question, I had already recruited Dr. Chakwas to serve on the Normandy. I now realize that there's a better benefit to recruiting Dr. Michel instead. Is there any way to switch which doctor I have recruited?
I'm not worried. Now that beating @RavenDreamer is out of the question, I'm just gonna get my 5 shares at some point and then let the long tail give me the upvotes I need.
I've rescued the civilian fleet admiral and Admiral Raan mentioned that it'd be super good to destroy the Reaper base ASAP, but she also mentioned that the civilians will snuff it if I don't take out the Geth fighters. Is this false jeopardy, or do I have to make a real choice here? If I do, what...
One that we seem to be getting over, both by good design (instant gratification and clear benefits) and by general habituation, digital goods are simply becoming more and more common
@AshleyNunn exactly. It's all in the physicality and lack of understanding of what good a digital thing can be

@BenBrocka Right. People assume that because they can't hold it, it mustn't be worth much
@AshleyNunn True fact. I was reading an article about how most digital retailers have fine print that usually says something along the lines of "We can take this away from you whenever we want"
@BenBrocka Where have you seen reports where this is the case?? I know not all F2P games succeed (no game is ever guaranteed to do that).. But I have so far only seen F2P game success stories for the most part. (People have no problem spending $200 when its $2 at a time :))
It's come to my attention that Quarian Infiltrators kind of own Geth thanks to Sabotage. However I can't always play as a Quarian Infiltrator.
What's the best way to approach encounters with Geth in general? How can I make effective use of different class skills against Geth?
I just can't remember the name of this title and it's driving me crazy. It's a futuristic PC strategy game where humans take on aliens on a alien planet with the difference that you play pretty much all of it from a first-person perspective because as the commander of the army you yourself run ar...
I've just captured my second Mediterranean City and have just been reminded that I recently used the "Install a New Assassin Den" mission in my first captured city.
But what does it do. I can't see anything obvious that "+1 Assassin slot(s) in the city" has achieved (in my first city, of course,...
In my rush to get started playing on Tuesday, I hastily accepted the appearance of my imported Shepard. After playing for a while now, I've grown to hate the way he looks. Is there any way, in game or out, for me to alter Shepard's appearance without having to start over? Answers involving th...
