It's already bullshit enough when you lose your nest because you weren't using the stock wrench and then you lose connection to the valve servers and respawn

and then you rebuild everything and you regain connection to the item server and go back to the old wrench and boom, everything is down again

@badp I don't know what plugin they're using, but I wish the Class Restrictions plugin on Midwest did that... since we had like 6 BLU Scouts running around a koth map with the restrictions set to 3...

uh. RUGC Europe has no class limits and... doesn't seem to need any, either

Chinese-language Bible has about 900kB in EUC-CN encoding, which means something like 450k characters. In other words, Chinese is something like 4 bits per character.

@OrigamiRobot Dupe of what? Also, lost items in Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim/FO3/FO:NV are not a problem on PC, since you can just spawn them with the command console any time. They are a bigger, potentially unsolvable problem on the consoles and they tend to have a different solution there if they have one.

The problem is platform independent, the answer isn't.

as for whether or not I'd play them, it depends if they land on the rotation; with very few exceptions I play whatever map the server happens to cycle to.

We don't need 50 skyrim lost item questions.

Objects which have a persistent reference attached to them (items, pieces of geometry, NPCs, whatever) are never lost. They are never deleted, nor are they ever created; the persist from the beginning to the end of the game. They can be disabled and re-enabled at will, at any time (ok: once per game frame, or the game crashes). Scripts can move them around to make sure they are where they should be, even if you're holding them in your hand.

@MartinSojka How does that make the PC and console answers different?

Quest items always have a persistent reference. Unique items usually do. It's up to the quest script writer to make sure they get back to an easily findable place if they ever get "lost".

if they persistently fall through the geometry, does it matter? (Dunno if this is a thing that can happen; I suppose it can be a problem)

@OrigamiRobot On the PC, the easy answer is always "open command console, type in this". On the console, the answer varies with item, patch level and DLCs installled.

We need just one "How can I find an item back on PC?" question. We really need one "How can I find this item back on console?" question for each group of items.

Just because there is a better answer for PC users doesn't mean there needs to be two questions.

There's also one other thing to note: Opening the command console on the PC and typing in anything will instantly make you stop getting achievements. Not something I personally care about, but others might.

@badp Hey, same here. Well, used to, until I rooted and upgraded to CM10, which wiped everything including the save file

Oh, not that emulator

I ended up justifying my purchase because this emulator has a turbo mode

So I can "auto-fight" in Chrono Trigger by holding A and pressing Volume Up (my own bind)

Q: Do Queens affect the amount of larva produced in the Heart of Swarm campaign?

I found it odd that during the campaign, I am unable to use the Queen's ability to spawn larva. However, it seemed that keeping a queen near my hatchery did cause more larva to spawn. In the Heart of the Swarm campaign, does keeping a queen near a hatchery affect the amount of larva produced?

or, when Earthbound asked me to do absolutely nothing for three minutes, I just held that button for a few seconds.
