@pixel Product of advertising and culture. If it only meant 10pm Eastern, it'd mean the show would air at 7pm on the west coast. Since 8-11pm is prime time in the US, that'd be silly, so shows in the pacific time zone are delayed 3 hours to ensure they too fall into prime time. Since nobody cares about the internal parts of the US, nobody cares about making sure programming falls into primetime for them

@pixel It's different. It kinda feels more like Kingdoms of Amalur than an actual MMO.

If you've played it.

Basically, you can go around, and wherever you go, there's a maximum level, so you don't miss out on content by being too high a level

and the rewards scale too, so you can literally go anywhere and play however you like, and still "progress" towards whatever.

Also, it is very beautiful.

and there's sparse hints on the 'net about the Windows Update drivers (automagically downloaded and installed without user interaction) having limited support for OpenGL

It pains me to download and install drivers though because it adds all sorts of nonsense like the nVidia Control Panel and whatever other nonsense

except well the fallback ones for the most basic stuff

it's now at Ubuntu-like standards. Almost.

@RilgonArcsinh On this machine I didn't have graphics, I didn't have wireless, I didn't have anything but basic screen, keyboard, basic touchpad and USB

whereas Ubuntu did all of this and more

(except for 3D acceleration, but that's only because of nVidia.)

Windows 8 didn't have drivers for my memory card reader and apparently the OpenGL api but that's it. It also detected the wireless printer and did everything with one click.

Q: PS Vita: What is the use of the traveled distance in the Near application?

The Near app shows I've traveled quite a bit with my PS Vita, but what is the use of the distance traveled? Will it unlock stuff at certain distances? Is there a friends ranking?

I'm just beginning to play this game but I'm a bit confused: do I have any tactical advantage with the pay version? Do I get more champions, more skills? Or it's just a matter of cosmetic stuff?
