@MarkTrapp Its like an intent conversion.. Usually you are doing a defend/capture style game play in Arma 2.. in DayZ you just try to live as long as you can with the catch being that the things you need to stay alive are guarded.

But all the controls are just as complicated, all the items are pretty much the same (though I think the melee weapons are new)

Data retention is new and the effing annoying AI of the zombies is new.

Q: What is zeroing and how do I do it?

On the DayZ wiki, each weapon has a stat called "zeroing." Some weapons say yes or no, but the AKM says, "Up to 800m." I have gathered that is has something to do with accuracy and I can use Page Up/Down to adjust it, but what exactly am I adjusting and how do I do it effectively?

WD -> always considered this more of a minion class than ranged, though it has balance issues which force it to be 'close range' (go ZomBears, die when u move 2 steps the wrong way)

@Koviko I have fun kiting around too; my playstyle with wiz when I can is super lazy - pop hydra, slowly back off casting blizzards, wait for blizz/hydra to kill stuff

If you build yourself tanky, your minions will be naturally tanky too.

I don't use the dogs, though; just the gargantuan.

Q: Getting stuck trying to get back to the prison on the second runthrough

I have completed the game and am towards the end of my second run through the game, but am stuck! There are no missions for me and no way for me to get back to the prison to continue the story and complete again! I am not sure how to proceed from here. Will someone be able to help me?

I realize that in DayZ, your character persists through servers. The problem is, I have two different groups of people with whom I would like to play. Q: Special badges for winning competitions?

At timely intervals gaming.stackexchange launch competitions. Usually around the time of a highly expected video game release. My thought was that the winners of those competitions should get a badge showing witch competitions they won. One example could be referring back to the Diablo 3 compet...

Q: Why was I refunded some gold?

I needed a gem to test something and bought just one, priced at 116 gold in the auction house. When I went to the completed tab to send it to my stash, I had the gem and 16 gold refunded. Why did this happen? The paid price lists 100 gold, even though in the search screen it said 116.
