@Wipqozn I'd have voted to delete that post, an all-caps answer with more exclamation marks than actual letters doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. It might technically answer the question, but interpreting it as a non-answer is also valid in my opinion. And it was deleted by one user and a mod.

@pixel A moderators opinion is no more important than the opinion of anyone else on the site. Their word isn't law. Furthermore, the moderator is from another site all together. Rules differ from site to site. What works on one site doesn't work on another.

Not so much leveling as "spend coins/points/whatever to unlock special abilities"

I know a friend of mine loved the first one. If he picks up the second I might pick it up as well. Co-op and what not.

Come to think of it, my videos seem to be taking a lot longer to render lately.

Most of my strategies involved "Place archers. Upgrade to fire arrows. Win"

@pixel the thing is that "Not an Answer" is established policy on the entire network. Even if there were a valid reason to change it, discussing it here wouldn't accomplish anything.

@pixel If you're not going to be constructive, don't say anything at all. All you've done for the past few minutes is complain about the site because you're upset your flag was marked as invalid, and that you disagree with the reason. If you can't deal with people disagreeing with you without resulting to being rude, then don't make statements which invite the opinions of other users.

@Wipqozn The game does not make use of a numbering system like that.

@pixel If the established users are disagreeing with you, it's often not because we want to gang up on the new person but because we already have experience with the things you are talking about and have already argued through the arguments you are presenting. That's why we are always quoting meta.

@fbueckert You might want to swap out to a different armor set. One with high poison resistance. Swapping to a lighter armor would help in dodging the attacks of the unblockable enemies.

@Wipqozn I'm wearing leather right now; I checked out the old robes, which is what I was using before the leather. They only increase my plagued resistance, not my poison.

@fbueckert You could try taking a look on the wiki for armor with better poison/plague res.

I've killed at least one boss in each of the other areas; only in this one I have trouble due to that giant troll, and the rats that cause poison; the level doesn't provide enough souls to buy more lotuses.

And pits. HATE pits.

@fbueckert Level 4-1 (with the rolling skeletons at the start) is a good level to farm for souls.

More specifically the start of the level. The skeletons drop a decent amount of souls, and you can kill them fairly quickly and easily.

You can also lure them back to the spawn point so that if you die you can easily retrieve lost souls.

@Wipqozn Yeah, got past the first boss on that area.

I've hit the point where I need 10K souls per level up.

You can just rush over to the necromancer (or whatever it is, can't recall) in that first room, kill him, grab souls, and quit.

Q: Are the no-cd cracks legally legitimate?

I have lots of games that require the CD/DVD in the drive to run. Are the no-cd cracks that can be found online legal for you to personally use on a piece of software you legitimately own?

In all honesty I wanted to nuke legal as well, but doing so would result in a variety of untagged questions in the short term.

Q: Are there any sites for speed runs?

Tool-assisted or otherwise. I know of Speed Demos Archive and TASVideos, but are there any others? Specifically, I'm looking for 100% runs, of which I'm hoping some are hours long. Consoles and game content doesn't matter.

Like most things in SE-world, seemingly mundane and trivial details (like tagging, or CW) can upset alot of people.

There is, in most cases, no way to provide a complete answer to questions that want a list of <X>.

Especially one like that; the scope is FAR too broad.

Look at the answers to that; how do you choose a correct answer?

(There was a dutch satirical television show about frat people (wrong word) that actually changed the way the frat people behaved). As a geek, I do not like it when people start to act more like the socially ackward bbt people. Just because the TV tells us that that is the way to act. I dislike that kind of social conditioning :D.

I have never been at any of my friends houses while they've been playing a game that would hold my interest

And one of the few times I took part was playing burnout, which resulted in raised eyebrows when I kept winning, so I made some flimsy excuse as to why I can't keep playing and went and did other things

Most geeks I know are afraid to admit that they're geeks, for self-protection. If Big Bang Theory gives them the confidence to be proud of who they are, then, in my opinion, the show has done it's job.
