@Tristan I find ammo powers to be merely okay against Armor. I much prefer having access to Incinerate or Warp.
(Part of this may be that my head is still kind of stuck in ME2, where my strategy amounted to 'get everything on the field down to a health bar as fast as humanly possible, then kick the shit out of them with biotics.')
I like being able to get rid of those extra bars ASAP. They frighten me.
@LessPopMoreFizz Fair enough. I use a lot of +Weapon Damage gear and upgrades, so things go down fairly quickly. The exception being Banshees but I use warp/disruptor ammo for those... I do regret playing a soldier though.
@LessPop_MoreFizz I've found my Shockwave power is pretty badass against almost everything. Nothing quite like doing a bit of damage with my chakram launcher and then shockwaving them into tiny little cerberus giblets

if you don't have League of Legends installed though, and you want to participate, you should probably get on installing it. I don't think it's a fast install.

@TylerShads No, not something against per se, but if @Mana is expressing an interest in playing something else, it's best to do it in 2 and 3. In 1, Soldier is just such a dramatic shift down in headaches that it's worth doing.
@LessPop Hmm...I seem to vaguely remember dilation on a weapon I didn't expect...but I used the sniper rifle for almost the entire game, so might be misremembering...on phone at relative's house now though, someone will probably beat me to checking. :P
