I rarely get cold, so that is less of a worry.

I'm always cold :(

Eruururueeurgh
I have a very narrow range of operating temperatures.
I'm always extremely cold in the morning, I dunno why.

WHY WOULD YOU MOVE

user15026
@GnomeSlice Lack of circulation, maybe

Q: Can I check what challenges I have completed during a mission?

kotekzotI'd like to know which singleplayer campaign challenges I have completed, as well as refresh my memory of what some of them are. Can I do this while on the mission?

0
Q: Do I need to complete more than 2 challenges per mission?

kotekzotCompleting 2 challenges during a campaign mission awards an unlock. Are there any rewards for completing more than 2 challenges?

0
Q: Do I need to finish a mission to receive its challenge unlock?

kotekzotDo I need to complete a mission after completing 2 challenges to receive the mission unlock? Does replaying a mission, having completed it without 2 challenges before, change anything?

10:02 PM
@AshleyNunn Might be it. I hadn't thought of that, I guess.
I have to put my winter coat on some times.

@GnomeSlice bedrooms drop 15 degrees or so in the morning when the owner wakes up. Proven fact ~_~

@Brian I'm usually awake most of the night. And my room is always colder than everywhere else, I don't think my window seals perfectly any more.

user15026
Dear Paper Mario stop being awesome I need to get back to my farming

@GnomeSlice Fun Fact: Once over the summer, I wanted to save on AC by opening the window. There was a black widow hanging on the outside. I decided to pay for AC.

@OrigamiRobot He was there all summer?
Yeah, that's what I would have done.

10:14 PM
I don't know I guess. I never looked back.

@OrigamiRobot Amen.

@GnomeSlice Also, only the females are big and fat. The more you know.
The males are much harder to identify.

@OrigamiRobot If it has 8 legs, avoid it.
Also 6 legs.
Or no legs.

40 mins ago, by GnomeSlice
I'm phobic of insects and spiders and creepy-crawly things.
@OrigamiRobot WTF

10:19 PM
Yea, that's a thing.
They are sometimes in my apartment.
Not often anymore because I sprayed around the doors and windows.

@OrigamiRobot I had one of those that had a three-inch long body in my basement when I lived in Philly, crushing that thing was pretty nasty.

Thankfully it didn't have time to run, those things are fast.

@TimStone Oh my God, I could never have done that.
Never in a million years.

user15026
I am glad the most I have ever had are ants and clover mites, both easy to get rid of .

10:22 PM
@TimStone And good at hiding in small places.

@OrigamiRobot Had one of those in my basement here the other week too, heh. I actually had no idea what it was and was freaked out a bit, had to look it up.

@OrigamiRobot I HATE THESE OIJEFAIOJEFWAIOF

If I were living by myself, and had a bug like that in my house, I'd have to call someone to come get rid of it.

> House centipedes feed on spiders, bed bugs, termites, cockroaches, silverfish, ants, and other household arthropods.

@OrigamiRobot That's awesome, just do it where I can't see you and where you don't touch me.

10:23 PM
STOP BEING BOTH HELPFUL AND UTTERLY DEMONIC LOOKING

@InvaderSkoodge Yes, that.

WTF THEY CAN STING YOU
> Stings are generally no worse than a bee's sting, with its venom causing redness and mild to severe swelling.
FUCK THAT, I HATE BEES TOO

@OrigamiRobot Ok bridge see you later.

@OrigamiRobot Yeah, I thought that's why you weren't supposed to let pets eat them, but that might just be nonsense.

I hate bees... and hornets... and we get shittons of hornets.
My dad had this giant super soaker he used to take down wasp nests. It had a setting where it could empty almsot the entire tank in like half a second. He'd shoot them down, drop it, and run for the house.
Lol.

10:27 PM
Also for those who didn't know, the standard praying mantis is in no way endangered and you won't get in trouble for killing them.

@OrigamiRobot Killing HIM? What do you take me for!?
Some kind of... person-who-isn't-scared-of-bugs!?

@GnomeSlice Just doing my part to dispel an urban legend.

user15026
I tend to trap most bigger bugs under a glass or a container or something and take them outside.

I prefer the squish and flush method

@AshleyNunn I do that with ants and shit, but if I can't get him to step onto the tissue or glass or whatever then I'll just sit there and wait for him to walk onto it.
I'm almost comically afraid of this shit.

user15026
10:32 PM
@GnomeSlice Hey, we all have our stuff.

user15026
You can probably walk through a crowd without panicking.

@AshleyNunn Yeah, I can. =]

user15026
I can do bugs, not crowds.

Like that scene in whatever that Eddie Murphy movie was where he's trapped in the crypt with the zombies coming up the stairs and his son (terrified of spiders) is outside, and the door is covered in spiders.
He opens it to save his dad and Eddie just tells him to 'beat 'em off'. Yeah... my dad would have died.

10:36 PM
Okay, cool aethetic thing - in PM:SS you can pick up "shiny" stickers with more powerful attacks, and the shine affect works with the tilt on the 3DS, so you tilt them and they "shine"

@OrigamiRobot They eat annoying bugs though.

@Ullallulloo They ARE SCARY BUGS

@GnomeSlice Just cause they look like evil things you dream about that are going to eat you does not make them scary. ... Ok well maybe it does.. but they are still awesome bug catchers like spider :)

@James I'm just scared of bugs period.

Any mods about?
@badp?
@Oak?

10:40 PM
The only bugs I somehow don't have a HUGE problem with is dragonflies, but I still don't like them being near me.
I went to the butterfly conservatory in Niagara once with my family. hohoho boy...

@GnomeSlice I actually like dragonflies.
I don't mind ants.
Butterflies are fun to look at but I don't want one on me.
I hate moths.

@InvaderSkoodge ugh i hate moths

@GnomeSlice Really man?? That sucks :/

Oh another bug I can stand is inchworms.
I used to catch fireflies but I can't do that any more.

That was supposed to be all in caps.
@James Bugs, spiders, creepy-crawlies...

10:43 PM
@GnomeSlice Ladybugs?

I was putting away some laundry a while ago and inside the rim of one of my socks I found this hard white chunk thing, and I had no idea what it was. I poked at it a bit, and then suddenly discovered that there were like a dozen of tiny little white worms sticking out of it and wiggling around.
That was one of teh worst days of my life.

I was cleaning up my documents, and found this: subjective.txt. This amuses me greatly.

@InvaderSkoodge Those are one of the worst ones for me, they look fucking scary.

user15026
@ArdaXi It makes me giggle.

Ladybugs are fucking terrifying, and you can never tell when they're going to fly at you suddenly.

10:45 PM
@GnomeSlice ...It's a ladybug.
The worst they do is piss on you.

What about shrimp? I think they are delicious.

@fbueckert Oh yeah thats going to calm him down about bugs :P

@James I shouldn't be mocking him, really.
Phobias are things that are hard to stop being afraid of.

@fbueckert It's a phobia, man.

@fbueckert At least it's not water. :x

10:47 PM
Phobias are generally irrational in nature.

@GnomeSlice According to Italian folklore they bring luck

It doesn't matter how harmless bugs really are, they're still fucking scary.

I don't like the idea of these little things being able to move around without me knowing where they are, or what they're doing.
@badp Do I SOUND Italian to you?

@GnomeSlice Yes.
You curse a lot.
STEREOTYPES DEAL WITH IT

Oh, you know that's true.

10:48 PM
uh, I know I curse a lot but I don't think of it as a particularly Italian thing to do

@GnomeSlice Hmm. So you don't have a problem with the big, easily spotable ones like lobsters?

My aunt is Italian, and her side of the family is all Italian and... well, yeah. She says some funny stuff.

@fbueckert That they are, hence my remark :P

user2334
Racist

@MartinSojka They're weird looking, and I don't know that I'd want to TOUCH one...

10:48 PM
MUCH SHAME IS BROUGHT ONTO MY PEOPLE TODAY
2
just kidding

@badp The classic "guido" stereotype (american with Italian blood who thinks he's Italian) curses a lot.
Also the mafia.

I'm not really SCARED of houseflies, actually, I just don't like them.
I had a really bad experience with those black bugs with the red X on their back when I was a kid.

Well, nobody does, which is why I keep a few spiders around the house.

@InvaderSkoodge I don't picture mafiosi actually swearing. Well, not the top tiers anyway

@GnomeSlice That is actually fascinates me about them and most living things actually... but its also why I do not like dogs.. I simply can not trust what they are thinking.

10:49 PM
@badp Oh, this is a joke at my expense.

@badp Watch some American mafia movies!
I recommend Goodfellas.

@GnomeSlice The ... milkweed bugs? Those tiny little earth dwellers which hardly ever fly, and you have to care not to kill by the hundreds simply by walking around on some days? What the hell did they do to you? o_O

Q: Is Edward Cullen a pedophile?

KristenStewartFanSince Edward Cullen is over 100 years old when he first meets Bella, would he technically be considered a pedophile because he is attracted to underage girls? Bella is, after all, considered a minor by the state of Washington. Has a vampire ever been arrested for this?

user2334
One reopen vote

@MartinSojka Kill by the hundredths? Like, each step kills one hundredth of one bug?

10:53 PM
@MartinSojka I forget why, but I ran into our shed in the backyard for something, and the door shut and latched, and the thing was fucking FULL of them.
They walls, windows, door, floor, ceiling, were all fucking covered in those little fuckers.

I mean, I've got bitten by a whole swarm of wasps once, but I don't see it as a reason to be afraid of them. I still simply swat them off when they get too annoying.
@InvaderSkoodge Yeah, fixed that.

user15026
@MarkTrapp Oy.

I stood in the middle screaming for my Mother for like 7 minutes before I finally managed to open the door and tear off to the hosue.
My parents had someone visiting out front, I think it was someone doing some work on the house and I run over bawling my head off, terrified.

@badp I flagged a question to request a synonym, but I decided it was pointless, so ignore the flag plz.

@GnomeSlice Yep, they do that. A bit icky, but they're almost as harmless as woodlice, unless you're a dandelion. :)

10:56 PM
@MartinSojka Oh we could use some of those around here then.

@MartinSojka That is one of the most traumatic experiences I can remember from my entire life.

I've seen entire fields just blindingly yellow from so many dandelions.

@InvaderSkoodge My yard does that in the summer.
Although not quite blanketed.

It's in the park, where kids like pulling up the ones with all the seeds and blowing the seeds around.
Dandelions are actually pretty damn cool, evolution-wise.

@GnomeSlice Aw. Stuff like this (getting bitten by 10+ wasps after I stepped into their nest, almost getting run over by a train and so on) certainly make me respect some things a bit more, but thankfully I didn't get any phobia from it yet. I'm fine with my fear of heights, and I'm fighting that too. :)

10:58 PM
Goddammit, I've missed ONE slag sample.

@MartinSojka I've always been afraid of bugs.

@InvaderSkoodge Children having fun? How horrible. You should definitely buy some of those bugs to stop it all.

@MartinSojka I've had respect-generating experiences like that too.

@Ullallulloo In my day fun was illegal.
That's why I ban all the fun questions on Arqade.
