I just noticed something really cool. Take a flashlight with a parabolic mirror. Shine it on a nearby wall. If you put your finger across the center of the front of the flashlight, your finger's shadow will show up on the wall, but the bright spot in the middle of the beam will appear to go through your finger. (It has to do with the way parabolas reflect light, but I won't spoil it)
