Compute the mincut of a graph code-golf
Given a graph, compute a division of the graph such that the edges stranded between the cut.
Red line: a cut
Green line: a mincut
Input
The first line will contain the number of nodes. The rest of the lines will contain pairs of positive integer IDs ...
Domain name trading is big business. One of the most useful tools for domain name trading is an automatic appraisal tool, so that you can easily estimate how much a given domain is worth. Unfortunately, many automatic appraisal services require a membership/subscription to use. In this challen...
@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ Pretty much. I used to make that joke all the time, but then I actually was the drummer for a band, so they kept making the joke at me. :(
Here's another one. This kid wants to learn bass, so he asks his dad to get him lessons, and the dad does. First week of lessons, the dad asks him what he learned. The kid says "I learned how to play on the E string!" Second week, he asks again, and the kid says "I learned how to play on the A string!" Third week, he asks again, and the kid says "Oh, I'm done with lessons. Now we're doing gigs!"
My university's "technology service" just sent an email warning about a phishing attack... by forwarding everyone the phishing attack email along with the explanation to avoid them.
Regarding my domain appraisal challenge, I think a decent strategy would be categorize domains based on length (3, 4, 5, 6+), character type (all letters, all digits, mixed), and by number of words (0, 1, 2, 3+).
You would end up with 36 categories with the above scheme, and there's probably enough data available to find an appropriate guess for each category.
Something that would be cool to do, after the challenge is over, is to combine all of the entrants and see if the result is an improvement.
@LeakyNun but since when did we have inverse operations defined for all the operators? the best way i know to do an inverse is .I which works as well on lambdas as it does on operators
@Quill I usually don't mind the Feedbot joke edits, but could you please only do it when the question has been posted by someone previously (and recently, preferably) in chat? Having to go into the history to find out what got posted is not user-friendly at all and defeats the purpose of the feeds.
My rules of thumb for when to edit a feed bot post: the question/answer had recently (within one page of messages) been posted by another user, or the post has been deleted, or it's blatantly off-topic/spam/etc and has already been closed.

Almost all digital camera sensors are organized in a grid of photosensors. Each photo sensor is sensitive for one of the primary colors: red, green and blue. The way those photo sensors are organized is called the Bayer filter, after it...
Interpreting the challenge too literally
That is, if the challenge says "write a function that, given a number n, returns the n-th prime", posting something equivalent to:
function f($n) {
return "the $n-th prime";
}
I wanted to write a c++ program to solve a 3x3 rubik's cube, but failed at it. So I picked up a 2x2 rubik's cube and wrote a program using Blindfold cubing algorithm. Can anyone help me write a more efficient program ?
This is the program I wrote
#include<iostream>
#include<string>
using namespa...
This will be a code-golf challenge.
Draw the national flag of Iceland
Beside lots of negative headlines with this year's UEFA Euro 2016 there has been a very positive surprise as well – the team from Iceland. Let's draw their national flag.

Well, obviously this challenge has no input....
Count the number of runs
[This question is a follow up to Compute the runs of a string ]
Consider the following definitions taken from The number of runs in a string by W. Rytter. Note that word, string and substring are all roughly synonyms.
A run in a string is a nonextendable (with the ...
@LegionMammal978 So have I (for other rules), but rules like this, which produce a lot of distinct objects, as a result, produce significantly larger haul files for the same number of soups.
80000 soup hauls seem to be working so far though
So it's not one of those rules that apgsearch really can't handle at all
Also, the census now includes its first 19-bit still life
