that's something I find acts as a reasonable measure of security - the amount of trouble an RO could cause us is a lot less than the amount of trouble we could cause them should they intentionally try to commit abuse, and to be honest, I have very little suspicion any of you would intentionally cause harm; at worst you'd be ineffective ROs

All three candidates have so far been very reasonable and mature people the vast majority of the time, and if they wanted to do damage, 10k-20k rep would give them the power to do much worse things than kicking a bunch users for half an hour (which alerts every mod online) or renaming TNB

But the reason I haven't added that feature is because the permalink auto-updates in the URL bar, and I think []() is simple enough to type yourself

yeah, that too: I don't think "Attempt this online" is a very intelligible link for people not in the know, but "Try it online" isn't a good link for code golfers, because it isn't TIO

so I thought I'd just let you pick your own link text when you write it

And I’ve seen Try It Online used for Online interpreters other than TIO

(e.g ideone, Vyxal, replit)
