One of the great things about the 1+1: both ends of the USB cable can fit either way up! Result!

USB micro-c at the device end is a great idea, then a standard USB without shield at the PC end

Updates seem to be frequent. The only minor bug with my initial version was a slight volume issue where some sounds would be too quiet. Fixed now.
