11:04 AM
Are you kidding me? Is this coincidence?
"You've earned the "Strunk & White" badge."
I guess those last four edits did the trick.

lol
at least now you know you've done 80 "counted" edits

I always hate seeing a typo/spelling error in one of my edits, realizing I can't do single character edits (yet).

@oKtosiTe you can

@oKtosiTe even twitter doesn't load in Chrome
something is seriously messed up

@Sathya Even after the edit has been approved by a moderator?

11:17 AM
@oKtosiTe not sure I follow
I know the site doesn't permit edits where character count is less than 6
but there are... ways to get around that

@Sathya I'd prefer not to leave blank links and such in other people's posts. The missing 's' will have to do.

@oKtosiTe not blank links ;)

In this case I found two more spelling errors, apparently my spellchecker accepts neither programatically nor programmatically.
I've got to go... good luck @IvoFlipse, later @Sathya.

What's the quickest way to find out how many counted edits you've done so far?
Oh, and hi!

hello @Linker3000
and I still think there isn't a way to find counted edits for the badge purposes :(
just whatever the user page shows

11:30 AM
Ah well, I'll just have to keep going!

@DMA57361 It's probably for the best. Perhaps it would stimulate unnecessary edits even more otherwise.

Oh...

@oKtosiTe possibly, but the badge does that anyway for some people
there's a few queries on the data explorer that will give you an estimate (although on old data)

@DMA57361 Hence the "even more". ;-)

lol

11:35 AM
Before^^
^^ nearly finished

yeah, that's looking better now

It's still not as I would like, but at least you can find your way around AND we found a shelf of powered-on kit that wasn't in use any more behind all the leads! No bodies of previous admins etc. though.

lol

11:54 AM
Hi everyone

hello @Mokubai

@Linker3000 You need to make the cables into little bundles so you end up with sets of rainbow colours going into each unit... spice it up a little :) Though I have to say it does look neater.
@DMA57361 Hiya, how's things?

@Mokubai not bad, but "dull"... but that's better than "exciting" for the wrong reasons, I suppose....you?

Still have to do the next cabinet along...
Not funny!

@DMA57361 I'd have to say somewhat similar... I like the old chinese curse "may you live in interesting times" and I certainly know some people who make things "interesting"

12:01 PM
lol, indeed

At least we found the switch that had a patch lead to both the VoIP network and data network so we were able to separate them again.

@Linker3000 That looks too tidy, mess it up a little! ^_^

I wondered about just spraying the door glass black and locking it!
..and throwing away the key!

@DMA57361 I wish there were some place I could submit people for "Crimes against computing" awards...
@Linker3000 lol

@Linker3000: yes that is so tidy...lol!
@IvoFlipse: are you good in Math?

12:04 PM
@Linker3000 and then setting the cabinet in some kind of cement?

..aaaand life's a lot safer now I have bonded the racks to ground/earth properly!

@Linker3000 uhhhh, they weren't earthed?!?!?
steps back

@Linker3000 yeah, that's quite important :S

@Mokubai Not through a permanent ground - they were 'relying' on all the kit/UPS chassis being grounded by their power leads but that's not 'to regs'.

on second thoughts... puts on rubber soled shoes, holds on to rack then pokes around inside the servers
@Linker3000 I had a suspicion that would be the assumption, but we all know what happens when we assume things...

12:12 PM

@akira Looks neat, now all I need is VS2010 ;)

go and grab it.

Does it work in the express editions?

dunno, go and grab it.

why @tintincute?
what does that do @akira?

12:18 PM
@IvoFlipse: python ide for windows

oh right, I looked at that, but it required visual studio doesn't it?

its a plugin for visual studio, so you could use that as the ide

lol @Mokubai wondered the same :P

yes, but if you are lucky it might work in the express version

setting up Visual Studio is about the same pain as Eclipse I reckon :P

12:19 PM
so, go and grab it )
not really :)

which express version do I need

just wanted to present you another option :)
10

Visual Basic, C# or C++

i would think .. c#
though i am pretty sure the others will do as well.
but c# is a good candidate since that plugin supports ironpython

@ChrisF I think the problem has to do with my logitech drivers

12:20 PM
which needs the .net framework .. thus ...

I'll give it a shot

@IvoFlipse That saves me a debugging task then ;)
@akira From my research plugins have been totally disabled in Express editions

ah, ok

crap
I'm so not buying Visual Studio :P
or rather, I so can't afford it

What do you want to do?

12:23 PM
at the university here students are allowed to buy such things reallllly cheap

pytools offers integration of Python into visual studio

yeah, tough luck that I'm no student anymore @akira :(

Ah - yep, you need a paid for version of VS for that.

then its time to get back to university :)

12:24 PM
lol it would almost be cheaper
but they have certain rules I think, that I can't just become a student and not follow courses
because they claim I would be costing them money

I priced it up the other day and it's nearly £1K for the lowest level MSDN subscription in the UK.

yeah 779 or so for professional with MSDN essentials

Unfortunately my current employer doesn't allow developers untrammelled access to the MSDN through them.
The license they have is apparently quite restrictive. Other places gave developers their own MSDN licence which meant I could download and install VS2008 at home (quite legally).

it sucks to be us @ChrisF :(

then its time for a startup: bizspark.com/Pages/home.aspx

12:30 PM
ah, I would qualify for that

@IvoFlipse I think Microsoft should offer, probably limited, MSDN licences to those users with a gold c# tag badge on Stack Overflow ;)

you could propose it on MSO that the team tries to arrange it

propose that to jeff || joel :)

I still think we should reach out to companies more, we just need to find a non-spammy concept for it
btw y'all should propose some banner ads for your favorite piece of software on MSU

@IvoFlipse Yeah - but as I qualify it would come over as a bit "Gimme! Gimme!"

Q: Community Promotion Ads - 1H 2011

Geoff DalgasWhat in the Wide, Wide World of Sports is Going On Here? TL;DR -- put images and links in the answers. If they get voted up enough, they will appear on the main site as community promotion ads. But whyyyyyyy? This is a method for the community to control what gets promoted to visitors on the s...

and rightfully so @ChrisF :P
we need ads for autohotkey, soluto, some backup program, drive partitioning, perhaps Chris's mp3 player :P

@IvoFlipse Which is why my tongue was firmly in my cheek and I'm not going to propose it.

no I mean you would deserve it ;)

@IvoFlipse My misunderstanding

I'd blame it on my poor choice of words, due to not being a native-English speaker ;-)

Never! Anyway, as I only really speak English (I can read a bit of French and understand the odd word in German) I'm not in a position to criticise.
anyway - have to go now, lunchtime is nearly over

12:49 PM
talk to you later :)

Why does Community bump up answers from yesteryear? Surely they died a death for a reason...

1:06 PM
@IvoFlipse : hmm just asking
perhaps you can help me

Finally read up on the transcript, hi everyone. :-)

Hi @TomWij new avatar?

@akira: Thanks, looks interesting for when I'm tired of PyDev so that I can boil it down to a single IDE again. Visual Studio is free for students, check [Microsoft DreamSpark]...
@Mokubai: Yes, to confuse people and draw attention from countrymen. :-)
@tintincute: Did you got your SMTP problem solved? What problem are you having now?

@Mokubai Would be nice if there was some very obvious indicator (a flag or icon) against Q's older than, say 6mo.
That would stop me launching in to a new answer before I notice the date!

@IvoFlipse AutoHotkey is a hotkey-optimized rip-off from AutoIt, perhaps list both in one ad (AH --> Hotkeys, AI --> Automation)? :-)

1:13 PM
@Linker3000 I've done that a few times, only to realise that a) the OP is never going to see the answer and b) no one is going to upvote even an excellent answer as they're never going to look at it as it was bumped by Community and is as old as the hills...

@Linker3000: Perhaps a configuration on a per-site basis, for some sites it might be interesting to boost a very old questions but for our site it's often not.

@Mokubai if you answer an old question then it's your name that's bumped it, not community, and old questions can get your the revival and necromancer badges

@DMA57361 I've always been under the impression that necromancy was bad, well, except in games where it's just plain cool ^_^

lol, it's just "bringing something back from the dead"... and if you can answer an old question and get +5 for the answer then it was a good answer
not all old unanswered questions are rubbish

But films tell us that bringing stuff back from the dead makes bad things happen, have you ever watched Pet Semetary?

1:18 PM
no I haven't, and I know the point you're making, and it's irrelevant to questions :P
many of the good (voted up) old questions either have no answer or an obsure one, so coming along with a valid answer to these is a boon

Lol, fair enough ^_^

you can leave the rubbishy old questions dead thou ;)

1:34 PM
@TomWij no not yet:-( still looking for solutions but don't know how really :-(

Did you already figure out if it's your server or your computer?
That's the first thing you should go for, there is no point looking for random stuff.

@DMA57361 The ones that 'get me' are when you start to answer something like 'Help, my password is corrupted and I can't login' and then you realise that the original poster from Feb 2009 has probably sorted something by now

@TomWij how can I do this?

@Linker3000 yeah, those are a bit of a pain. In fact, when we find those we should probably be shutting them down as too localised

In practice, locally this means: Logging and checking your connections (Process Monitor can do that) to see if data is being leeched from your computer to an IP you don't know, checking if your mails are forwarded (Wireshark and see what happens with an incoming mail).

1:37 PM
@TomWij: how will I know its my server?

For the server: You could as well check connections, but I guess packet monitoring might be too tedious. Also, if you suspect him having access you can check when people logged in at the event log.
What OS/mail software does your server run?

I have xp outlook 2003 and in my Mac I have Thunderbird
Hmmm, sorry @TomWij: when you say what server am I running what do u mean exactly?

Wait, I'm confused...
5 hours ago, by tintincute
I'm not really sure if he has direct access to the email server. But I changed the passwords since we had this problem
Do you run your own server or are you using an email service from an ISP or e-mail provider?
Because in the latter case, changing password should be sufficient.
Unless it is captured again, which brings us back to

I am using an email service from an ISP.
ok I bought a domain from GoDaddy and this is host by a hosting company to where I live now.

Yeah, then you might want to log your connections to see what's happening to be sure.

1:42 PM
and with that domain I can create email addresses
based on the hosting company

But if his attempt isn't too complex it might be visible as a non verified process in Process Explorer or Process Monitor, entries in RootKitRevealer, ...
Yeah, just be sure he doesn't have password access and you should be fine.
If he had access to your laptop, also check for forwarding rules in Outlook and check if your POP3 server is set right and not to a proxy.

I have IMAP

Wil
@ChrisF Just catching up - Most companies do not buy MSDN at all... They are usually a member of Bizspark (5 I think MSDN subs) - Website Spark (limited 2 I think), Partner (10 I think) Gold partner (25 I think)... Again, not sure on the numbers... all they need to do is go to the partner website, add your passport address and you can go to MSDN

how can I do this PRocess Monitor and entries in RootKitRevealer?

Wil
@Tomwij - ha, love your picture - I went to Belgium when I was 7 or something and I remember thinking it was a giant climbing frame!

1:47 PM
1. Start it, accept the EULA, click Reset, click OK.
2. Make sure only the network icon is selected, the third in this image:

@TomWij: wait wait... do I have to download this Process Monitor somewhere?
is this for free?

3. Click the Filter menu and click Drop Filtered Events, so you don't flood your Page File.

Wil
@Tintincute ... I spent a lot of time trying to help you the other day. I scanned your computer for you and I did not easily see any signs of a rootkit / virus / keylogger - not saying there isn't, but I certainly didn't see anything obvious... If it is a good one / done well, you would never know it was there - but I still doubt that is how it was done. It was most likely either he cloned your hard drive, or just captured your passwords across the network

Yes, it's made by the SysInternals company, which became part of Microsoft some years ago.

Wil
@tintincute As for this... check c:\william - unless I deleted it, I think I actually downloaded it whilst I was helping you the other day

1:49 PM
@Wil: hi hello how are you?
i got the email copies from my lawyer already

Wil
@tintincute Very tired... working all hours at the moment :(
well, you said that you think there was a code in them that shows how he got a copy - if you can scan one and send it to me (cover personal details) I can try to tell you

@Wil: Yeah, if you thoroughly checked it it's most likely not to be. Logging his connections can be useful to be 100% sure he is safe.

and there are some strange quotes from the mails perhaps you can take a look at it and you can tell me how it happened.

Which I think he is, unless the person on the other site outsmarted us... ^^

@Wil: sorry to hear that you were tired
@Wil: yes I remember you helped me did we do the Process Monitor too like what @TomWij is describing?

Wil
1:51 PM
@tintincute lol... my own fault - just working all hours at the moment. I only seem to be productive at night, so I just turn everything off and work solidly from about midnight to 7AM... fall asleep and wake up at ~13:00, then seem to do next to no work until midnight, no matter how hard I try to focus!

@Wil:
Delayed sleep-phase syndrome (DSPS), also known as delayed sleep-phase disorder (DSPD) or delayed sleep-phase type (DSPT), is a circadian rhythm sleep disorder, a chronic disorder of the timing of sleep, peak period of alertness, the core body temperature rhythm, hormonal and other daily rhythms, compared to the normal population and relative to societal requirements. People with DSPS generally fall asleep some hours after midnight and have difficulty waking up in the morning. Often, people with the disorder report that they cannot sleep until early morning, but fall asleep at about the s...
Was one of the many symptons of my ENT problem.
I can tell you, sleeping earlier sounds easy but is hard. The solution seems to either skip a night of sleep or to go sleep hours later everyday...

Wil
@TomWij Very interesting, however, not sure I actually have a syndrome as I allow myself to do it - I am self employed and no real commitments (most clients ring in the afternoon, so never a problem). I sometimes get up at a regular time, but then I just get so carried on with work, I just don't sleep until I finish something... when I go to bed, I fall asleep straight away

@TomWij: I can't open the link

Wil
If I forced myself to lay down at midnight or something, I am sure I could - I just like getting on with work then as it is quiet
@tintincute Yes I did

@tintincute: procmon.exe in live.sysinternals.com

1:55 PM
@Wil: ah ok so I don't need to do this anymore?

@Wil: Checked the connections?

Wil
@tintincute You are welcome to, but I spent about an hour with you the other day and couldn't find anything.... As I said, if you want peace of mind, you need to reinstall Windows, but I really do not think a keylogger was how he did it

@TomWij: do i have to install the procmon.exe?

Wil
@TomWij I checked active connections (obviously, it could be a periodic program), and my favourite... using procmon for file access and doing a few keys to see if anything logs it - but I couldn't see anything

@tintincute: Download & Run, no need for Installation. When you're done you could remove the file or keep it for it's usefulness. It basically monitors processes for File/Registry/Network and other events and allows you to search/highlight and filter things.
@Wil Same issue here, the problem is that when you get into the habit that the syndrome kicks in. To correct it, it is the same like having to sleep at ~6 PM instead of ~12 PM for a normal person... ;-)

1:59 PM
@Wil: I will also need to open some PDF files with passwords

And if you try so, you simply stay awake because you aren't tired enough yet.

you know if I re-install this I would re-install all the applications and I don't even know where to find the key products

I was 4 AM - 5 AM for some time, but got it back to 2 AM - 3 AM after my surgery, it's a matter of time before I get it slowly back to the normal times.

Wil
@TomWij Ahh, so nothing you are born with/treat - you mean, I do have the syndrome because I caused it myself? :S

@TomWij: I will save this on my bookmark and will try later at home as I'm still at work

Wil
2:02 PM
@TomWij Surgery? ... (Hope you are well / getting better) Unrelated I hope... don't think I need surgery for a syndrome!!?

@Wil: No, it was a symptom of many for me. Don't worry if you don't experience other issues...

Wil
@tintincute I think you are much better off using keyfinders like I showed you - If the PDF was created with newer versions of Adobe, there isn't an easy way to break the user password (unless I am wrong)

@Wil: Yeah, "timing of sleep, peak period of alertness, the core body temperature rhythm, hormonal and other daily rhythms" are things that can change from one month to the other.

hmm, I can't remember keyfinders Wil? you mean the Jelly beans

Surgery was for nasal polyps, causing Sinusitis/Headache/Tinnitus/Hyperacusis/DSPS/...

Wil
2:05 PM
@TomWij Well, I have headaches/Tinnitus for sure.... bloody hell, we are so similar! lol

@TomWij Oh, that's a nasty op - my wife had it done many years ago.

Wil
but... hopefully no surgery needed at all!

@Wil: Err... Better get yourself checked then, don't run around with it till your life quality is worse.
How much headache?
I still have my Tinnitus and barely no Hyperacusis, it got less intense because the Sinusitis and Headache is as good as gone now.

what was your math problem @tintincute?

Wil
@TomWij Why the hell do I start talking about things like this, all it does is scare me!... I have had Tinnitus for years, doc said I should take ginko biloba (or whatever it is called) but it doesn't do a thing so I don't bother (it is non prescription/herbal, but he said it helps some people), as for headaches, all the time - but paracetamol gets rid of it, and I would say it is just down to stress/work load
@tintincute That is the one for some MS products - need to find one for others such as your Adobe stuff

2:11 PM
@Wil: ah ok.. i have those in PDF's but it's password protected

@Wil: I've read up a lot on Tinnitus, and while for a very small percentage there are things that solve it (Tinnitus should be regarded as a sympton, not a disease/disorder/syndrome; it's more likely that you either just have ear damage or in a smaller percentage that something else causes it)
there isn't really a treatment available, they're currently experimenting with neuro-feedback stimulation.

ok will find one then!

Wil
@TomWij Yeah, it is just that you mentioned it - I am sure it isn't that bad... just minor ringing... the fans off all the computers I have here cover it up!!! And just read quickly about Nasal Polyps - my breathing and stuff is fine, I don't think I have that at all

In Belgium there's a 1 (checks again) 1.5 year waiting list for a specialized clinic, but I'm not going there as it isn't that bad. Their site has usual information: brai2n.net/clinic/eng/tinnitus/index.html

@IvoFlipse: at the moment I don't have math problems but perhaps soon. Just wondering if you are good in Math then I know where to go;-)

Wil
2:14 PM
@tintincute but without that password, you will just be down to brute force hacking - if you know some details (length, complexity e.t.c) it can speed things up... you need to think worse case scenario and get the keys if the osftware is already installed

not really, but I can help you figure out what to do @tintincute :)

@Wil My headache/tinnitus has drawn away the attention of the real issues, I started to notice the issues after my CAT diagnosis. :-/

Wil
@TomWij honestly, compared to some people I know, I have it easy! .... My Granddad did artillery in the war and has bad tinnitus... I just have it mildly and whilst it is annoying, I can easily live with it

@Wil If the same counts for your headache, you should not worry... :-)

@tintincute @IvoFlipse is lying, he knows everything!

2:17 PM
true @Mokubai, but I didn't want to brag :P

And else, be glad you are prepared when it worsens. I focused way too much on the Tinnitus and really got surprised by the diagnosis, I never heard of it before...
@TomWij useful*

@IvoFlipse: It's ok don't be shy...I will tell you when I got that math problem
I will come back to you and grill you ;-)

oh nasty, apparently some tools to root my phone are considered malware by MSE

Wil
2:59 PM
@Sathya nice advert! Cool!

yeesh

Block Cramster? ==> Hell yes!

how did this crop up?

I was searching for an example from how to think like a CS
def increment(time, seconds):
time.seconds = time.seconds + seconds
while time.seconds >= 60:
time.seconds = time.seconds - 60
time.minutes = time.minutes + 1
while time.minutes >= 60:
time.minutes = time.minutes - 60
time.hours = time.hours + 1
This function is now correct, but it is not the most efficient solution.
As an exercise, rewrite this function so that it doesn’t contain any
loops.
I never know how to interpret what they expect me to do :\

3:13 PM
use goto :P

well don't use a loop, but am I allowed to use map, lambda, list comprehensions?
they loop or iterate, just different
sorry to hear it didn't go great @KronoS :(

@IvoFlipse it didn't go terrible though either.

word = 'abcbacabbaa'
count = [0,0,0]
abc = ['a','b','c']
for letter1 in word:
for index, letter2 in enumerate(abc):
if letter1 == letter2:
counter[index]+=1
print('%sa%sb%sc' % (count[0],count[1],count[2]))
horribly inefficient code that get's the work done @KronoS :P
probably you could split that word and check for equality and put all the same items in one list, then check the length
btw @Sathya let me know if it's any good, I need to upgrade to CM7 RC2 too
print s.count(",")

tbh I didn't find much difference between CM7 & Nexus S stock rom

ok that's lame :P
yeah, but you were already running 2.3, everyone else is still stuck at 2.2
but it broke my GPS
and shazam can't access my mic :S

3:26 PM
oh
no such problems

> print('%sa%sb%sc' % (word.count('a'),word.count('b'),word.count('c'))) @KronoS

Tom
Hey I added a bounty to a question about a dual screen setup if anyone is interested in 100 rep

Q: Setup dualscreen with Catalyst Control Center on notebook so that nothing chanes when closing lid (case) ?

TomI have setup a dualscreen setup for my notebook with an ATI video card (ATI mobility radeon hd 5470) using Catalyst Control Center. The monitor extends the desktop of the notebook's screen. This works great. I am running on windows 7 and have set it up to not do anything when I close my laptop'...

Hi everyone :D

hi @BloodPhilia

you haz 2 comments @BloodPhilia

3:37 PM
I see @Sathya
Will make the logo as you say, just a sec
@Sathya Look now, is this better?

Tom
this video shows exactly what my problem is

3:55 PM
@BloodPhilia much better, thanks

@Sathya You're welcome =)

add it to your question @Tom

Cm7RC2 seems to be a lot more responsive than RC1

ah, then I should give that a try too

4:15 PM
great work on the ads @BloodPhilia!

any app can be submitted right

yup, as long as we upvote it

Wil
4:35 PM
Just done mine... Think it will be approved? Don't expect it to - I am rubbish at image editing!
lol

bye everyone
time to go home

@Wil Autoruns name/branding is is barely visible...

Wil
@Sathya It says it in the overlay text.... and it will link! Lol, only did it quick - Won't submit it...

@Wil yeah I spotted it a bit but the HKLM\.. stuff draws attention away from it
@Wil btw I'm not some hotshot designer.. atleast you made one!
@tintincute bye!

5:12 PM
@IvoFlipse Well, that could be done using a formula.
time.seconds = (time.seconds + seconds) % 60
time.minutes = (time.minutes + (seconds - seconds % 60) / 60) % 60
time.hours = (time.hours + (seconds - seconds % 3600) / 3600) % 24
Wait, there's something not correct, but it's the idea.
add 12345 seconds to 0:0:0
--> 45 seconds
--> 25 minutes
--> 3 hours
--> 03:25:45
--> 3 * 60 * 60 + 25 * 60 + 45 = 12345 seconds
Correct now, the division for minutes and hours fixed it. :-)

5:43 PM
yeah that's like in the book @TomWij :)

5:54 PM

A: Synchronise changes in profile information across SO sites

Jeff AtwoodYou can now copy profiles via the buttons labelled "copy from {site}" on the accounts tab of the user page.

anybody know what jeff's refering to in the "accounts" tab?

Account Overflow... :)

lol :P
but @KronoS there's the tab for you :)

Think I'm going to just take the text:
> Xperf is an important tool for anyone doing system performance work on Windows because it's specifically designed to give you a complete system-wide view of performance over long periods of time (10's of seconds, to minutes)[2]. It's also the only tool that knows how to fully process all the events from the kernel and correlate them into something that makes sense.
For the mouse-over.
Oh, tagline, something shorter.
> Xperf is important for anyone doing performance analysis on Windows, it provides a complete system-wide view over long periods of time. It fully processes all events in something that makes sense...

6:02 PM
this was my last lab for embedded systems

what does it do @KronoS?

It simulates a card reader and password protected door opener
light one represents door 1 open
light two represents door 2 open
and light 3 represens alarm
the switch on the top left corner is the inputs to the system.
It's actually pretty cool

that seems something fun for electronics.SE too
someone should check whether mindstorm is actually on-topic there, so we can have @nhinkle ask questions there and write a nice blog post for them :)

@KronoS If you're going for more technical information, yes.
@IvoFlipse just did :)

hi guys

there he is :P
I just asked the Electronics and Robotics guys whether Mindstorm would be appropriate there

 Electrical Engineering

A place to talk with friends from the EE community about vacuu...
@nhinkle get in there!

perhaps they'd be more interested in blog posts about it too

i'll take a look at it. i need to get through finals though before i can start worrying about that

finals shminals...SE is your life now :P

6:23 PM
indeed @nhinkle ;P
what kind of finals do you have?

all my classes. chemistry, microbiology, engineering (should be easy), and math
math is a take-home final but will probably be a lot of work

@nhinkle what math?

it's two classes mashed into one (which sucks). first half of the class is matrices, eigenvectors, etc. second half is infinite series, power series, taylor polynomials, etc.

@nhinkle linear algebra?

@KronoS, yes

6:34 PM
I was thinking about taking that class... I need just two more math classes to have a math minor...
same thing actually for my ECE minor as well

cool. yeah it's actually required for my major, even though i'm not a math major

I'm actually surprised it's not required for mine.
