our application is served as a java applet

earlier, we had to stick to jinitiator, which was IE6/FF only

now we've dumped jinitiator for Sun/Oracle's JRE

which brings me to my question

I have Sun JRE installed

and I want to install it for Chrome

but I can't download it (IT restrictions)

so wondering if there's a way I can copy the plugins over to Chromes' folder

just don't know which folder to move it to

any idea how I can do that?

looking right now

there's a folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\lib\deploy\jqs\ff that contains:

a "chrome.manifest" "install.rdf" and another chrome folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\lib\deploy\jqs\ff\chrome\content

with files: "overlay.js" and "overlay.xul"

I'm assuming that may be the place to "insert" the files?

This is my educated guess though

a person close to me had access to my mails and can't figure out how did he do it

I'm using outlook 2003 in my xp and Thunderbird in Mac.

Ok, at home we have 5 computers

we have NAS server where we put our documents so that we can access it and we have a router

my xp laptop is connected directly to the cable modem for internet and this person is using linux for his desktop which is also connected to the cable modem

I saw the documents he printed out which he got from my laptops (not sure if he copied it from my xp or mac - which is connected through our wi-fi) and the emails look like this: From: MyName <SMTP:myemailaddress@email.com>

Well if you're using outlook there are .pst files files that he may have pulled from your pc

hmmm, this is strange and one thing more I noticed, from my outlook is this: that the dates where he got copies from those sent emails were saved directly on my machine, which shouldn't be the case because i set up my outlook as IMAP

and then when I checked the sent messages which went directly to the sent folder saved on my machine it has like a symbol of (i)

and I remember when I sent that mail - all the mails that have this (i) symbol like an information, my laptop went very slow...

Then I also noticed that I got this SpamTest - Not Possible Spam and saved on that sent folder and when I opened it, it contains a file messages.zip

and when I opened that .zip file it has 2 files inside: headers_1.txt and the other one is an .eml file

you mean the smtp server? yes... but it has to point to a server that will work... and is handling your email

so you can change it, but it won't do you any good. My suggestion... either switch entirely to something safer like gmail, or live, and strong password protect your stuff

if you can't do that, then you really need to talk to the guy, and either eliminate his access to things, or resolve it with him

anyhoo I'm off to bed. I'd say doing HW til 136 is late enough

hmmm... could use a microphone set a certain distance and measure recorded amplitude - wouldn't give an accurate reading of decibels but would give you something to compare
