As to the reason I flagged your more recent question as a duplicate, that only due to the answer you submitted, which did not provide any new information that the existing answer didn't already provide. I mean you literally used the duplicate's screenshot.

I really dislike when a user calls out another singular user, with an edit to their question due to a single close vote, makes it way to personal for my taste.

also, the situation with IGPs is fun

Before sandy bridge, and AMD's APUs an IGP is a seperate chip on the motherboard, connected to the same bus as the video card port

so it was one or the other, and using a discrete video card would completely and automatically disconnect the onboard video

with SB or IB there's a specific setting (which carries on to newer intel cards)

Not sure how AMD does it

But you could, say, find a intel board with onboard s3 or nvidia graphics
