So I just tried to delete ALL OF MY QUESTIONS + ANSWERS. Unfortunately someone undeleted my questions so I will have to find another way.

In telecommunications, received signal strength indicator (RSSI) is a measurement of the power present in a received radio signal.
RSSI is generic radio receiver technology metric, which is usually invisible to the user of the device containing the receiver, but is directly known to users of wireless networking of IEEE 802.11 protocol family.
RSSI is often done in the intermediate frequency (IF) stage before the IF amplifier. In zero-IF systems, it is done in the baseband signal chain, before the baseband amplifier. RSSI output is often a DC analog level. It can also be sampled by an int...
@ivoflipse it just surprises me sometimes how much people are attached to their "digital" property... You mess with it or say it's crap and they go all postal on you and think you're the spawn of satan
@IvoFlipse: I know that my pictures aren't the best quality. I don't have a fancy camera right now to take better pictures with. And, it's my website, and I'll post whatever I want on it.
We have one of those at my work (a data center) that we have as an insecure WLAN for client use. We have to get on a ladder all the time and restart it...
If client come on site and need internet access, they use that.
reminds me of a hilarious iPhone auto correct that a co-employee had a few months ago. You tried to text "alrighty then" and it spelled "altitude thin"
@IvoFlipse Looking at the Pro Temp's on other SE sites I am not so sure about that. They seem to ignore the fact that some of us have experience doing this, and at least 1 out of every 3 knows how to do things better.
@IvoFlipse We reverse the mistakes. Simple really. The one thing I wish moderators would learn, is even if you don't agree with each other, never ever take another mod on openly. Support their decisions and discuss it in private afterwards.
@IvoFlipse Lolz. That was a blast from the past. He was the second user I ever suspended.
@KronoS Preliminaries aren't an indication of the final votes. I was quite surprised how much votes I got when I got elected, and I was up against Ivo and Troggy. Also often the nominees who aren't selected now, automatically become moderators when the need arrises, so 4th or 5th place is also good.
I'm wondering what the issue is though. Trying to delete one's own questions could have a legitimate reason -- not something warranting a 7 day penalty..?

@Kyle Not really... just referring to your answer on my Outlook 2007 post. Kind of the obvious "probably first think he would've found on Google/TechNet and already tried" thing. Still a valid answer, though.
You said it was your Dad so I assumed we should start with the most obvious cause of this issue. You didn't mention if he tried that or not..
My bad if he is more computer literate than I assumed I didn't mean to rub you the wrong way. My dad wouldn't have even attempted to check online first.
@Kyle His e-mail said he'd already been on Microsoft's website, and my comments indicated it was safe to presume he'd meant TechNet and such. He's fairly competent.
@Kyle No offense taken. Just poking fun at you is all, really.
Dad was the one who raised me into computers, starting with a Commodore VIC-20, then C-64 and C-128. The first computer I could call my own was a 486 I'd put together from spare parts he'd accumulated in the garage.
@IvoFlipse I think the mod comment was to state that there's a mod tool for it - users with edit privileges still see suggestions where they are, right?
Just i want know that can i connect my Pentium 3 desktop to my sony bravia lcd tv
config:-

is it possible? or may it damage my Tv??...
Seems like low-rep users don't see edit counts. But, if you're a user that made an edit, you see the post as you edited it instead of as it was written. And, you have a notice saying "Thanks for your edit! This edit will only be visible to you until it is peer reviewed."

Now, here's a question. Do/should accepted edits give you rep?
The recent 'frank exchange of views' about downvotes suggests another line of investigation to me.
I would presume to attribute some goals to Jeff:
Users who put real effort into the site should earn rep and achieve moderation status.
Users who game the system should not achieve moderation sta...
I was just thinking that giving rep for accepted edits could help low-rep users climb through the system more quickly. The problem becomes how to regulate such rep gain, though. Perhaps establish a max per-diem of "edit rep" based on number of edited posts, and limit edit rep gain to once per post?
it's open to arbitrary edits though @Iszi, off course they have to be approved, but still users might start making useless edits for the sake of the rep
@IvoFlipse That's why I was suggesting a max posts-per-day limit of "edit rep" gain, and also only one "edit rep" bonus per post, per user (regardless of how many times you edit it).
@KronoS To be clear, only mods can view a list of active proposed suggestions. 2k rep users should still be able to see the proposals on the posts themselves.
This should be a CW. I'm looking for a list of all the "special purpose" pages that may not have links, or may not have obvious links from the main site. This could also include some that are "right in front of us where we can't see them" as the saying goes.
Information for each page should in...
This is because we will begin granting rep to users who suggest edits. If it did not require 2 users to approve an edit you could create infinite sock puppets and boost them all up to 1k rep by making scores of edits and single click accepting them.
that's the source of my claim about rep for edits @Iszi
@DMA57361 Never heard of the last two there, either. How am I supposed to read /review? I imagine /posts/{id}/timeline is a timeline of a single user's posts?
And how the heck is that question "too localized"? It seems like it's started a bit of a debacle for sure, but it's definitely something that should be discussed.
Regarding "too localized", are software troubleshooting questions from 2009 that haven't been followed up on "too localized" now, one and a half years later?
So it's great that our whole community is now able to provide edit suggestions, but the decision to limit one-click approval status to moderators is causing me some heartburn.
Much to my surprise, today I encountered a nearly-good edit, one that I was about to make, and rather than be able to ...
@IvoFlipse was looking for a query to find old unanswered inactive questions with low views/votes. Because those kind of questions clutter the site and keep the unanswered question ratio high, it is a good idea to keep the site clean from questions like these.
It's very unlikely that someone th...
