reddit is cool, i like how it is Free, to bad they think it needs to be moderated to death. there should be places where there is complete chaos, and there should be places where you can grind a rail.
of course, i also believe they should make locations were a person can jump off a bridge :-) that personal freedom thing.
well if it is like the bridge, you have your normal site where all the ants drive thier little cages , and everyone is safe. then a small portion of the same is dedicated to Chaos.
or Instead of people searching for whats happening near bridge, and when he finds it, "Oh, that man jumped!", there should be something like Whenever someone jumps, he'll hear it loud and clear, "Hey, that man jumped!"
I am ok with 2 log-ins one for goofing around, and one that is "secure" . but to think that the same authentication used to chat, is used to link to my bank account?
I do not mean just bank account, I mean e-bay, amazon, newegg, and the other 30 places i Buy stuff online. i would never want those to be under a single log-in/password. . Get ahold of one, and have them all , that would be way harder to damage control

Authenticated web - you authenticate a device/identity and whenever you access a webservice, it detects your authentication and works with it. no more sign up and sign in. Cons: The authentication control should be owned by User. Or else things gonna screw up really bad.
@soandos Not accept the "easy" one for all log ins? and claim that they are a breech of security, and condemn thier existance, like having one key that fits all your cars.

Simple, clear, useful. If you left a comment before you casted a down-vote, you can cancel it without editing the question.

we can discuss it. but in the end, it is up to the mods discretion and SE as well. SE says that we can leave stuff on our Metas and it still gets seen by SE...
there's an unwritten rule about migrating from one meta to MSO only under rare circumstances. That's why you don't see migration to other sites on meta. I'm not sure why you insist on posting engine questions on Super User meta & ask for migration when you could've posted on Meta Stack Overflow
@Sathya Next time, please make it clear while still acting accommodatingly. You're introducing new moderation policy unexpectedly after exclusively acting upon quite a few requests identical. I also have found no reference for this new policy, and it wasn't mentioned even once on all eight previous migrations. "Only under rare circumstances" is different and should be communicated differently.
@DanielBeck I know you've been posting a lot and think things aren't getting attention on MSU. That isn't true. It's just a case of resources and priorities. We see them. We're not ignoring them. You have my word. (:

@Sathya I'm sorry you think that I don't appreciate what you do, like bringing these issues to the team's attention. I've said it before, the moderators on this site are generally doing an exceptional job. Otherwise I'd probably not care about the site enough to raise these issues at all. But your usual dedication makes the few bad experiences stand out that much more, like with what seems to be a change in moderation policy today.
Is it useful to post a question and answer pair along the lines of "Why is there some weird behavior" / "It's a bug, here's how to circumvent it"? I've posted question/answer pairs before, but not bug related.
