@ArtOfCode When you have a chance (low priority), I was attempting to use the /api/filters MS endpoint and ran into a "InvalidAuthenticityToken" error when using the same token I'm currently using to feedback and flag via FIRE. You can test it by running the following from the console in a tab where FIRE is running:

@SmokeDetector cc @ArtOfCode @Undo I never thought these lines would run, and it seems like it wasn't ever expected to be executed. This is causing some confusion (at least to me).
A summary about what happened: Prior to this commit, GitManager.get_remote_diff() was giving bad output (see this commit message) and therefore only_blacklists_changed was always giving False. It was spotted and fixed, and as a consequence, the deploy_updated part in metasmoke.py just reanimated.
Since Smokey is relying on autopull in commit messages, the deploy_updated is considered deprecated or obsolete, I guess?
Whatever now, I'm removing deploy_updated part for now because of duplicated functionality. I want to know what they're supposed to do.

News update: Smokey will no longer restart for reloading blacklist/watchlist changes. Ping me if anything goes wrong.

Note: Smokey will still say SmokeDetector started at ..., which is intentional. Without a Restart: API quota is xxx message, it's not actually a restart.
That should resolve most "commands not taken by Smokey during restarts" issues since most restarts are either timed (6 hrs) or after a blacklisting command.

blacklisting phone numbers still requires -force but there is work to move phone numbers to a separate blacklist which then doesn't consult these rules at all
@Shree there are some provisions in place to prevent us from adding overlapping reasons, it's basically a "one size fits all" block so if something comes up as already blocked you have to -force if you want to introduce duplication
@SmokeDetector @iBug and @AJ I've retracted my spam flag. There is a comment on the question that hints at the same tool for diagnosing purposes. the answer can be a valid attempt to answer, not spam per se.
but if you hesitate to -force, just ask one of the regulars here, there's usually somebody here who can answer unless you are in a weird time zone (or in an odd phase wrt your time zone, i.e. hacking at 5 in the morning)
