@Undo Thought: In the deploy-ms repo, create a branch. When a dev pushes the deploy button, MS pushes a commit to that branch with the command git commit --allow-empty -m "Deploy started on <sha> by <username>". That'll let us keep travis history.

@thesecretmaster Seems reasonable
@thesecretmaster On mobile, but it shouldn't explode much if you just run yarn install.
Might need to be root
That'd be a change in the MS repo.

One other thing: Any reason we don't move MS to a t3.small? We're on a t2.small now, right?
@Undo Was just gonna add the cap/yarn gem
I'll try it now

@thesecretmaster Reserved instances that don't expire for a while, but planning to look at it anyway

Gonna deploy the yarn cap change and see how it goes

Bleh, needed sudo

Might be a way to install yarn stuff locally, but sudo works

Shouldn't it be installing to node_modules?

Not sure

6:53 PM
I could also try plain npm install

Shouldn't need sudo if it is

I don't think the gem lets me prepend sudo

Might be easiest to do it manually, unless npm works
I've never done it, but manual Capistrano plugins aren't supposed to be hard to write

Could just fork it. I'll try that
Also, another travis PR is waiting for you :)

@Undo How'd you fix the error Command "webpack" not found. before?
(This time on deploy:assets:precompile)

7:20 PM
Pretty sure we need to look at this:
--link-folder <path> specify a custom folder to store global links
--global-folder <path> specify a custom folder to store global packages
--modules-folder <path> rather than installing modules into the node_modules folder relative to the cwd, output them here
