My idea was a site where you need 100 rep to do anything, thus requiring that you have the association bonus (since you can't get rep without being able to post)

@Mego If you actually ignore the random one-rep misled user who posts a programming question, meta.SE is kinda just that site

I have no intentions of "being nice" to those who are using cats to engage in bio-warfare and bio-terrorism -- on a two-fold level no less. Not only are these cats destroying all wildlife, but the 3dozen+ diseases that cats carry and spread are also doing the same. Many of them already listed as bio-terrorism agents for having no vaccines against them. The punishment for engaging in those crimes and sins against all of nature and all of humanity used to be hanged-until-dead. And you want me to be "nice" to people like that? Grow up. — TNR Researcher 2 mins ago

@Mego Uh, just one unrelated sentence is hardly politics . . .
I mean, I would usually know when a conversation gets too political to be fruitful

@Mego I think some joking / tomfoolery from time to time doesn't hurt anybody

But this wasn't it

We're not staging a debate in CHQ, just sometimes I / we make off the cuff remarks or jokes about something

There was little chance of me and Magisch going on to ramble about what side FOX news is taking

@Magisch Sure, and you're welcome to that opinion. And it's clear that that is allowed in this room. But I don't really want to see or take part in political joking, so I leave when it happens and come back when there's actually spam to fight.
