@Makyen Who's the primary FIRE developer nowadays? Still @Cerbrus?

@Mithrandir @Cerbrus is the owner. I do actively work on it. If you need something, I can make a change. I should have pushed an update a week ago. So, if it's something relatively easy, I can include it in that.

^
Also, a simple reset would be delete localStorage["fire-user-data"]

Just wondering if it'd be possible to just be able to turn read only mode on and off directly from the script UI.

Yes, it's possible.

5:26 PM
With a new option, sure.
Although, it would mean triggering the authentication again :P

I'd suggest just having a button to reset/clear all localStorage data structures and reload the page. Doing so would cover all similar issues (as long as they can get to the FIRE configuration popup), but would be easier, from a coding perspective, than having multiple different options to clear some portions of the configuration.

@Mithrandir no, it looks like whenever I join a new site, my profile isn't copied over properly

@EriktheOutgolfer IMO, gibberish should be tpu, as I R/A flag it and think a system level block is good. Gibberish should be given whatever "flag that speaks to you". See: Why don't we treat rubbish the same as spam?. Personally, as with Shog9, I'm partial to R/A flags. See also: here and here
For most people, they tend to be more likely to use NAA instead of R/A on gibberish when the user has some rep.
@ThomasWard Looks like teward/Supernova got stuck. You're probably going to have to kick it. It appears to have happened due to the timing of my approving a PR and doing a !!/watch, here.

I'm certain you're not the only one.
@EriktheOutgolfer I don't see any error (but, then I run a significantly different version of the script). Without more detailed information, it's difficult to diagnose what might be the problem. However, it could be something specific with interacting with MS or SE at that exact time, which only happened for you. The exact thing that was shown in a toastr message, or console log/error would be helpful.

I don't think anything showed in the console
just a red rectangle on the top-right corner of the screen :P
and, IIRC, it simply said that something went wrong

@EriktheOutgolfer Which said something, the exact contents would usually be helpful. However, in this case it's reasonable to guess. It most likely said, "Something went wrong while attempting to submit a spam flag". More data would be logged to the console, if you enable logging from the FIRE settings popup.
However, the most common thing would be that you had already flagged that post.

11:47 PM
hm, possibly, since I have

Unfortunately, even if FIRE was looking at the data available from the SE API to see if you had flagged, the SE API does not send information that provides a differentiation between some situations where you can flag (e.g. you flagged and retracted, you flagged and it was marked helpful/declined/disputed) and where you can't flag (you have a flag that's active; i.e. not yet handled). Thus, MS and FIRE should be attempting to flag and then filtering the errors received.
Currently, the only error type which FIRE filters out there is what's received when you attempt to flag and the post is already deleted (can happen if the post is deleted after FIRE fetches data, but prior to you clicking on "spam).
