Slightly different, but both correct. In this case, "This post would also have been caught for" means that this post would have been caught for the current reason and for this other reason listed below. The change @iBug suggested actually changes the meaning slightly because "This post would have also been caught for: " means only that this post would have been caught by the reason below also. So it isn't emphasizing that the current reason catches it, but that the other would have as well.

Umm since SmokeDetector aka Smokey is our most active moderator on SO, perhaps it will have to take precedence over "lets change things for changing's own sake" decisions by the SO company. The people who make these kind of bots are awesome and should be supported by SO, not shot down. Or by all means shut down the bot and then SO employees can do the forum moderation themselves. — Lundin 43 mins ago

We can shake our fists at detractors saying we don't do much and the ttd is irrelevant all day, but in the end there are many more normal users who've gotten used to not be surprised by offensive and disturbing shit on their browse for work solutions while working

Then we can argue a point that out every new visitor who came to the SE network for the first time and saw how bad the spam was, how many of them were turned off by the disgusting state and decided not to contribute to the SE network?... This could have been avoided if Smokey was watching. First impressions to new potential members mean a lot.
