@Frank Could be interesting. Never been much of a fan of RTS games though.

Q: What's the maximum number of Quarries/Farm/Woodcutters can you build?

Memor-XI'm currently Level 9 and i have 6 of each but i can build 10 farms total. my experience in Clash of Clans is that i may be able to build more when i unlock more buildings (Shadow Kings your Level controls what you can build) So i am wondering, what is the maximum number of Quarries/Farm/Woodcut...

Anyone can tell me about Civilization V ? I'm thinking in buying it on the 2k Special promotion from Steam

@Michel What would you like to know?

@Fluttershy in reality, I saw some videos, but didn't grasp the reality of the gameplay
The coop part, for instance... It's one helping another or versus? (or both options)

FAE
@Michel both

@Michel Bo... that.

11:31 PM
@Fluttershy hahhhaha
@FAE thanks ^.^

FAE
@Michel Have you played any other 4X games?

4x?

FAE
4X is a genre of strategy-based video and board games in which players control an empire and "eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate". The term was first coined by Alan Emrich in his September 1993 preview of Master of Orion for Computer Gaming World. Since then, others have adopted the term to describe games of similar scope and design. 4X games are noted for their deep, complex gameplay. Emphasis is placed upon economic and technological development, as well as a range of non-military routes to supremacy. Games can take a long time to complete since the amount of micromanagement needed to...

Yeap, Age of empire, Warcraft

@Michel Those are RTS games.

11:33 PM
but I didn't like it, because was too "fast" I enjoy building and farm
@Frank Ouch >.<

FAE
@Michel Civ is turn-based.

Yeap

4X are usually much longer, more involved than RTSs.

I love turn based
this is the part that couch my attention and interest

FAE
@Michel You start out with one settler with which to found a city, then you build that city up and improve it over time and choose what kind of improvements you want to make and how you want to expand.

11:36 PM
@FAE I read that it's possible to win by diplomacy (for example), not only by annihilating all enemies

FAE
@Michel Read the wiki article on Civ V and see if that helps, it has a full section on gameplay. If you have any questions on what it says, I'm sure we can help you.
@Michel Correct. There are multiple victory conditions, so you can win in the playstyle you like best.

@FAE * - *
@FAE Thanks =)

FAE
I'm a cultural victory kinda gal, myself. :)

Taking advantage of you guys ... Can I play the coop with online users (not some friend of mine that is online, but a random person)
@FAE I love the killing, but for the most part, the strategy, grow and structure I love the most. How is a cultural victory?

FAE
@Michel Yes

11:40 PM
@Michel its addictive... very addictive... you have been warned

@MattGiltaji hehehe good to know =)
Just Civilization is R$ 11,24. the complete edition is R$ 32,99 Just wondering if I should go for the complete or not now =D

FAE
@Michel In base Civ V and its first expansion, it involved building buildings and projects that would give you cultural points, but in the second expansion, it added a mechanic called Tourism, where you have to acquire Tourism points.

@FAE got it :3

FAE
@Michel Brazil is in the second expansion (Brave New World) :D

@FAE Yeap
I was between Civ V and X-com Enemy Within. but I guess, I'm going for the Civ V (I promised to myself that I wouldn't spend too much on games, so I "can't" buy both =X)
For instance. In Skyrim, the part that I like the most is Stealing/pickpoketing/leveling skills ... Not the quest part (I like to kill dragons and do some quests that I can kill hidden)
I'm more a Final Fantasy person than a Zelda person
=X
