I'm not a big fan of steam,and i hate playing over my browser even more,so is there a way to download the game client from somewhere else and play it without third-party software like steam?

From what i see the first 4 slots are for equipment and other 8 slots are for items.Now I'd want to know is there a way to increase the amount of inventory slots,because 8 slots is really low.
