Q: How do I add a non-Steam copy of Portal 2 to Steam?

I downloaded Portal 2 (not from Steam), but after I installed it I wanted to add it to Steam. I went to program files/valve/portal 2 and there was a file called steam client so I clicked on it and it just opened Steam, but didn't add the game. What should I do?

I like to sign in for beta games in my battle.net account. It says I have to register at least one game. If I want to add a game it needs the game key, but I just own CD-Keys of my Diablo 2 game, and the expansion Lord of Destruction. Is there a way to convert my CD-Keys to Game Keys?

No further information was revealed about the content, but we’ve previously been told by the firm it will contain new test chambers, new challenge modes, and other nice nuggets for Mac, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
