Q: How are the value of assists and kills determined in League of Legends?

What is the formula for calculating the value of a kill or an assist? Is it worth more gold for a team to get an assist and kill (AKA KS=kill securing) or is it better to allow the carry to get the whole kill with no assists?

The article for Assist states that there is a pot of 70% of the kill bounty that is split between all champions that provided an assist for a particular takedown.

vs. Assists are trickier. Anyone who does damage in the last 10 seconds splits money from the "assist pool", which is 58% of the value of the kill. The assist pool is divied up among all assisters.

The only other From Dust question on the site was posted 3 weeks ago, and it was only answered after I posted my related question with a more interesting title and linked it. I understand the google-ability issue, but calling it "too fucking much" is a bit overboard, when it was effective and prompted an adequate answer for two questions

@Oak I understand the searchability aspect of it, and am more than fine leaving your edit. I just wanted to explain why I used the title I did, and why it is more useful than you might have realized

@Manaಠдಠ The half block is the norm. The solid cube on the right isn't supposed to exist at all.

It's the double step displaying the top texture on all six sides. But it's persistent, and can be copied and pasted anywhere.

You can see, I built an arch out of them.

Q: Is there a way to enable borderless window mode for Diablo 2?

I've become a bit spoiled with all the newer games offering borderless window mode. Is there anyway to enable it for Diablo 2? Or am I stuck with the nasty border around my window?

@DaveMcClelland well, (1) I didn't contest the value of the question, that was another user, just the title. (2) When I say "too fucking much", this means I've got fed up with too many similar cases. So it's not just your question causing this rant, it was just the last straw :) and (3) I'm still not convinced. The title felt, to me, completely devoid of any useful information, and just there for laughs.

@DaveMcClelland also, I am not convinced by the fact it was effectively answered. It was answered by a top user, who will obviously notice the title, and is probably watchful regarding that game, anyway.

But a random Internet person encountering the same problem will have difficulty finding this page, because of the title. This is my stance.

I really feel like, as you finished your question, you approached the title with the thought "OK, what will be the coolest title I can find for this question?" instead of "how can I summarize this question in one sentence", as titles should be.

If I'm wrong, I do apologize. And I am glad that you can see where I'm coming from. I'm just stating my opinion.
