Q: How to get the stabilization function working in Kdenlive?

Nathan OsmanI have a shaky video that I would like to stabilize with Kdenlive. However, I can't seem to get it to work. I right-click a clip in the project bin and select Clip Jobs -> Stabilize, but nothing happens. I am using Kdenlive 15.12.3 on Ubuntu 16.04. What am I doing wrong?

:(

12:45 AM
I love how zooming in on a video while recording doesn't actually change the resolution.

Some people just don't understand Ubuntu askubuntu.com/questions/778488/….

So much meme footage at the zoo:
Hrm... that didn't work quite right...

Samsung has a feature that deals with fast moving scenes, and makes them look realer anyway (slightly more depth)

I want more functionality than I think a scope can offer

I've hit the grind point on the spirit scope
I think ill publish after getting the filters done
then I can take on the remaining features one by one

@Videonauth nice.
it's out of my expertise but I think you know what you are writing.

yeah i tested this ack and forth
I found a wiki article which was from around 2010 but that was partly so outdated that i mostly had to figure everything out myself
then i answered it lately here for Masi and then i thought as i opened my blog 4 days ago ok you could put that into a tutorial
btw this is a great way to have a clean install of lubuntu or xubuntu as well if you use tasksel and you not need any download medium

well that not the point of how downvotes should be used
the questioin could still be migrated to SO and there it would be a valid answer

11:36 AM
@ByteCommander :i might have an idea for that
isnt rsync not bidirectional ?

But I can't just sync the files.

@Videonauth the answer is no. there is no gtk3 in thunderbird yet

user136984
@Videonauth: Yes, just had a look at the control file for Thunderbird and it's gtk2.

@ByteCommander so why not ? arnt the both machines at times in the same network ?

Yes.
But the messages are stored in the MBox format (one physical file per thunderbird folder).

I'll just bounty that one with +50 too.

ok you should mention that in your question tho
