@Fabby Well, I'm on 16.04 and I have GNOME 3.20 now (which is something you could get with Unity too) which is not shipped by default with any of the flavours so I'm on a later version to you probably! :)

What in the world, Windows 10 automatically removed speccy "because it is no longer compatible with Windows 10".

Is anyone willing to place this script [dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1155139/script] in ~/.local/share/nautilus/scripts, make it executable and see if it adds the date to a file on right click -> scripts -> script. In a discussion OP cannot even tell me if the file was renamed and claims it doesn't work. Tried it here on 4 systems, all fine.

It seems that the upstream gnome-terminal developers are very against the idea of having optional (or any that is) transparency in terms of look, why is this though? What could they possibly have against the feature? Are they just too lazy to implement it or what? Because Ubuntu circumvented them and added it as a distro patch anyway, and I've been using the lovely feature and love it, so what could they possibly have against it?

He'll probably isolate America from the rest of the world and withdraw protection for certain allies so if he does that, though in the short-run anything could happen and not for the best... In the long run it could mean that those countries get their act together and unite with others in the region rather than just America... So it could lead to good through bad, but still, won't be nice in the short-run...

Well, I finally managed to install it in my KVM, but now it does not really boot.

If I boot in normal mode, I get a black screen with white blinking underscore.

And in debug mode, it prompts me a few times to type "exit" and finally it gets stuck in a loop reporting that it killed some PID.

@Ferrybig Do you have any idea about this issue? It's Android x86_64 5.1-rc1 with UEFI.

@ParanoidPanda It turns out I still have touchpad controls in Fedora gnome. (I used Unity in Ubuntu). So it's a libinput bug that affects 3.20. I wonder if the OP had upgraded to 3.20

@ParanoidPanda After the latest upgrades, the touchpad settings disappear from the mouse/touchpad settings. And (if the function keys were working) the function keys stop working too. But command line to turn touchpad on/off works. Not sure if its just 3.20.2 or also earlier, but seems ok in 3.18.1/2. An upgrade to synaptics came through after prob appeared, but that didn't fix it. Haven't searched bugs yet to see its been reported
